In theory, watching a movie on the 8100 is a great idea...but in reality, it is really uneasy to watch a movie on a two inch screen after a while...starts to get irritating...

No, it doesn't...it actually works...just the same way that when you have the flip open, and put the headphones in, make a call, and close the flip, take out the headphone cord...

I know this may sound nasty...but u can do this...turn on the speaker phone, here comes the nasty part - lick the connector on the bottom of the phone until it says "car kit", then you can use the voice dial as a dial mode...pretty nasty, but works... :oops:

get the song of your choice --the 30 sec sample and save it...
make sure "hidden files and folders" are open in the folder options menu...then go to where the 30 sec sample is located, rename the file to .mid from .mp3 and it will ask you to continue and say "YES" or "OK" and then go to your email, add that as an attachment, and then send it to XXXXXXXXXX@vzwpix.com XXXXXXXXX is your phone #... :D

The headphones are to dial with flip closed...when you press the silver button for 2-3 secs, the phone's outside menu goes into calls mode and you can use the volume rocker to select who you wanna call, and then either hit the play button or press the silver button again for 2-3 secs...

My Camera Quality has noise also, even on the portrait mode, and my 7000 used to take better pics...im wondering if someone can tell me the best ISO setting, Photometry, etc. to get the noise to a minimal...thanks for your help!

If you buy a game for 9.99, that's unlimited playing...the game doesn't use up minutes as far as i know, I think VCAST requires minutes, but im not sure, but if you get the phone now, you can get vcast for 2 months free!

make sure it was xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx and that none of the letters were capital...also check the message info to see if the message mentioned "Delivery Success" or "Delivery Incomplee", if it says delivery incomplete, just resend, or wait...

So, here's what you do...
1. Plug in your headphones that came with the 8000.
2. Activate Your Speaker Phone (CLR)
3. Dial whoever you want...
4. Put the flip closed.
5. Once ringing, take out the plug for headphones.
6. Walaa!! You have a speaker phone with flip closed... 8)

Hey, all of you experts out there, do you know if verizon is going to make a special cable for the mp3 player, because we have to do it through QPST and when i did and played back the files, it seemed like it was intended to have an mp3 player on the phone because of the backgroud graphics and options, do any of you know if verizon realizes that there is a problem with the phone's mp3 player ...
