The only way to get it fixed and to also get a faster menu is to flash it with the latest firmware, my friend did that with his T616 and no works great.

You can have it flashed, it is risky and you may need to find someone with the right cables and expertise. It would be better if you buy another phone (may it be a cheaper one) if traveling a lot to europe.

:? Do you really on this phone? Come on sure it has its Cons like no TFT screen but it is a really cool phone with bluetooth IrDa extreme compatibility with a pocket pc (i sended there pictures i took to release memory) and ringtones and games you can download them, or get a data cable and get them for free. I had this for 3 months (i switch frequently) and no complains at all.

Guess you should try another holder, as far as i know there´s no way for deactivating it.

Hi, you can download lots of free java games in popular peer to peer networks, search for "3300 nokia java" or "nokia 3300 games". i´v just got hooked on Pang (GREAT GAME) As for the kboard all you see is all you´ve got, i´ve not heard of a solution yet. If texting is more important than the mp3 for you, go for the nokia 6800 i have one and love it. 6820 or 6822 improve on camera (CIF and VGA ...

As a previous poster said there are different 3300 for europe and usa, the one with the qwerty keyboard is for the states, the one with no qwerty is for the europeans (e.g. will not work with 1900 mhz).

It can also save java apps copy on your mmc the jar and jad files through the nokia pc suite, then (on the phone) go to menu look for install aplicatons and there you are.

I´ve read some reviews saying ringtones are kinda low, but for me they were really loud enough (and I really like loud rtones)

1. As long as it is unlocked it will work. 2. Depends on the mmc card you buy, it comes with a 64 Mb mmc which can hold up to 1 hour at most (suggest you go for a 256 Mb). 3.FM radio is NOT an streaming multimedia service which this device does not support. 5140 by far better, ruggedized so lasts longer, and a VGA camera (better than CIF on the 3200). Guess a 5140 would be more expensive though.

Check on ebay (check seller's feedback) or amazon, expect to pay US$ 130 at most (shipping included)

Actually this is my girlfriend's phone, and the last time i counted the pictures she had like 25. It really depends on the (note that it is a) SHARED memory, ergo the more ringtones and wallpapers you've got, the less pics you can keep.

Hello, does any body knows for sure which is the highest capacity on MMC cards this phone can take? And, does this phone can download java apps with the data cable or only through GPRS like the samsung´s? Last question... is there an IrDA in the phone? Thanx a lot
