Thanks for ur response, but I played with the Z30 at the VZW srore in 2 locations. Creating groups is not on the phone. Even a rep at BB checked his own phone...not there. The app called smsbynow will fix the problem. The developer created it just for the the BB 10 phones...and it allows groups that have 100's of contacts, just like my Bold does....anyway it has gtreat reviews.

Hi I ssume you mean the 8360, not the 8350...anyway after 10 days, I am very satisfied with changing from the 755 to the 8360. As I posted before, I still prefer the form and thinness of the 755, but chose the 8360 cuz of the full-duplex speakerphone. I still have 20 days to return it, but I'm sure it's a keeper cuz of the clarity and reception which is better than the 755. The location of the speakerphone button ...

Sure..just go to New Message, then select "Voice Message" from the list of 4 choices (ie Text, Picture, Text, and Voice), then just speak your message, and enter who you want it sent to from your contact list...works great and it beats having to type out words on the keypad...of course the recipient may prefer text to receiving a Voice text which they'll have to listen to as oppossed to just read.

Greetings to Tropicalisland and all!! Thanks Tropicalisland (are you there?)....I finally got my 8360 last week. As you recall, I made the difficult decision to trade in my W755 which I really really liked, for the 8360 cause I needed an office quality, 2 way, full-duplex speakerphone. The speakerphone in the 8360 comes very, very, very close to my above expectations. Other than the speakerphone which trumps all other features for me, it's a close call between the W755 and ...

Hey Tropical My 8360 arrives tomorrow. I'm jacked! I have another question: I have almost 900 contacts on my W755, and use the keypad exclusively to locate the contact tele #. Is the 8360 contact look up as easy to use as my W755? btw, I did get the rep to give me a one time discount of $50 so with the $50 rebate, the cost is $139. Also, what I told you B4 was wrong...they do charge a $35 restocking ...

Thanks Tropicisland And here's a new Verizon rule. You have 30 days to return, but you now have to pay a $30 re-stocking fee unless you return it within 3 days..then there's no fee. Anyway, you have been very helpful. I'll let you know how it goes, and hopefully I will also be an advocate for my new phone...thanks again!

Tropicalisland From what you said, it sounds like it is full-duplex. I almost wish you had said the speakerphone is awful cuz then I wouldn't have to make the decision. The W755 is the best cell phone I've had since my beloved StarTac back in the old days!...Unfortunately, the W755 does not a true office quality speakerphone. I guess go ahead and try the 8360. Btw, did you by any chance use "Backup Assistant" on your 755?...and if you did, ...

Hi Tropic Thanks for the reply...but would you mind using your speakerphone to see if it is really full-duplex? Sometimes, they spec them as Full but aren't. It's really important that I know B4 I buy it. I wonder if you could call me at 318-573-3857 (is that a TOS violation to give out a ph number????). If you can't could you call someone and see if it is actually 2 way? If you can't, I still appeciate the time ...

Hi The specs say the speakrphone is "full-duplex" Is it true office quality full-duplex?...where both parties can talk at same time?..(see def below) Full-Duplex refers to simultaneous two-way transmission, such as experienced in a phone conversation. Both ends of the connection can hear each other at the same time. Half-Duplex, in contrast, will transmit in only one direction - from the loudest noise - at a time. When one person is speaking, the other cannot be heard I will really appreciate your opinion ...

You can't mute, but you can activate speakerphone with phone closed by just pressing the bottom button on the left side of the phone when it rings (it's a dedicated speakerphone button) And it is a great phone!

It's a tad thicker, but about 1/2 inch narrower than the RAZR so I guess it will fit in your back pocket. It's narrower size allows me to slip it in to my watch pocket (or whatever the small pocket is called) in my jeans. It's a great phone!...Bill
