Most stand-alone indirects can push the upgrade date up 7 days, so you would be able to upgrade on the 23rd.

not a bunch of details right now. It looks like in the future, if you want to keep unlimited data, you won't get the benefit of of a device subsidy.
So full price for a shiny new smartphone or subsidy price and unlimited data goes byby.

Sure. Lots of phones are rumored to be going to quad-core processors and there isn't much need for it. The phones don't have many programs that actually need that much computing power. Not to mention, ICS is optimized for dual core processors.
IDK, perhaps i'm just getting a little jaded by trying to keep up with the next biggest, best thing or maybe i'm turning into a consumer that just frankly doesn't care about the ...

I'm pretty ambivilant about it. Its a phone with a horrible processor and low ram. I've rooted it and put a ASOP 2.3.6 rom loosely based off the SGIII.
I don't care about the SGIII. I honestly don't see whats going to be so ground breaking or revolutionary. Its going to be more of what SmartPhones are. Big pretty screen, to much processing speed for the phone and some memory. yay...

I carry a Samsung Charge with a Defender Otterbox (no belt clip) and a Moto Razr with Commuter Otterbox. Both fit in my front pockets, no problem

Ugh, there is almost no stopping the 'sleep on it' customers.
The only thing that has worked for me in the past (and its about a 1/4 success rate) is simply asking "why wont you buy today" or "what is stopping you from buying today" You had a little help from the SO so you could've worked that angle and perhaps the temporary number line "lets set you up with a temporary number and if it works ...

but a small one. I'm all for making happy, returning, profitable customers. If a customer wants a basic phone over a smart phone, thats fine. But i want my salespeople to show them smartphones and the benefits they entail. Every salesperson here has heard "i only want a basic phone" and has shown and demonstrated a smartphone which the customer bought and loved.
