phone specs?
whats it have for ram and processor? i have an original x power and the thing is a slug. the battery would last for days if you never used the phone. as soon as you did it would get warm and the battery would die as fast as any other phone.
wtf?
so circa 2007 technology is worth a whole event? Tmobile is so irrelevant where i live i never even realized they got rid of WiFi calling. and they're still irrelevant with it again. IF YOU WANNA BE RELEVANT YOU NEED MORE TOWERS! simple as that.
Re: Are you retarded?
then said phones become blacklisted and are of no use to anybody. problem fixes itself. dumb people that are buying phones should call the carrier before purchasing a phone anyways and make sure they are not stolen and out of contract. duh
good luck hitting the limit on sprins data network
seeing your using sprints data if you watched youtube itll take about an hour to load one video so it should only take about 35 days to hit the 2.5gb limit. sprint data speeds suck.
$300 for brand new top of the line unlocked android?
Ive been reading around mostly googles site so pardon me is this isn't in the story but its 300 bucks for an unlocked, no contract 8gb of memory, 2gb of ram and a quad core s4 processor. when the first razr droid came out on Verizon it was 300 WITH 2 yr contract still in tow. i think that is an incredible deal seeing most any unactivated android on any carrier is 350. and they also didn't include a ...
Re: There's spectrum for them
You sir, are a genius. Best way to describe what is happening with this hole fiasco. This should be a phone scoop story itself to help the lamens like me understand much better. I wish this site supported thumbs up cause this absolutely deserves one!
Re: " I don't necessarily take issue with granting LS new spectrum..."
Its not the broadcasting. Its the receivers themselves. They've been over this many times. The gps industry (aka manufactures) should pay them fair market value of there spectrum and then they can use that towards purchasing new spectrum for what they wanna do rather than being handed something they never paid for.
who would have policed this situation then?
this is a genuine question. who would have been in charge of accepting or denying this transaction? im not all that knowledgable of the government.
Re: FCC Strikes Back
And i have a goldfish.
Re: Ok, let me see if I've got this straight??
exactly what jblaze74 said. They bought spectrum, meant for satellite to ground communication. Tried to use it for terresttial communication, get shutdown and want to be reimbursed with spectrum good for that use? Not gonna happen. They should have figured this out longggg before they got this far. They only got approval to build there LTE network if they could prove they wouldnt intefere with gps, which they can not. If anything i would go after the gps indursty ...
Re: It's funny what some people say
You could try to pay in nickels, but they gladly decline to take them.
millions would be affected!!!!
why not do it anywhere in the world? cause the thousands of lte phones sprint has sold wouldnt work correctly. oh thats right. they have zero public lte phones. what exactly do you think there testing it with.
