What will Lenovo's purchase of Motorola mean to consumers?

Can anyone speculate how Droid phones will change with the Lenovo acquisition? Will there be any changes from a consumer standpoint? Will they continue to be the same phones I've always had? I've been a loyal Motorola Droid user for years, and I'm about to upgrade. Any reason I should change to Samsung? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty loyal to Motorola. Assuming Motorola isn't releasing a 4G with slide-out by year's end, my dilemma is: do I give up the slide-out keyboard I really want for 4G speeds or is 3G fast enough for me to keep the keyboard I want? We'll see.

I am due for an upgrade in 3 weeks with Verizon. I am partial to my Motorola Droid w/its slide-out keyboard (can't stand texting on the touchscreen), and before I get something I regret I just want to know if/when Motorola will be coming out with a 4G Android phone that has a slide-out keyboard. Verizon (of course)claims to not know anything. Thanks. Joe M.
