If you're in the US Verizon wireless might be getting it in May from what I've read. Orange in the UK already has it. Rogers in Canada is getting it in April.. I'm not sure where you are located so I can't give a concise answer :)

I love Android and HTC but when I was looking for a phone a few months ago they didn't have a nice GSM-based HTC phone. But now AT&T apparently has one, check out the HTC Inspire 4g - http://www.htc.com/us/products/inspire-att

Re: Any 4G Blackberries

Nothing yet, only rumors of 4g phones coming later this year or next year. It would be sweet if they could release something this year though to keep themselves in the game in that regard. Motorola, Samsung, and HTC all have 4g phones already so RIM is a little behind on this one. However, you could also say that the infrastructure isn't there yet for 4g so its not worth it to get a 4g phone yet anyways unless ...

Quarter 3 of 2011 is what was on the leaked product release schedule from RIM so I'd expect sometime towards the end of this year for the BlackBerry Monaco (Storm 3) .

The BlackBerry Monaco (Storm 3) is supposedly coming sometime in the next few months. Quarter 3 was the last reliable estimate..

You can also just get the locked version and the unlock it. Its not hard to do and any place you get the code from should provide you with instructions. It could be cheaper this way, the unlock code shouldn't cost more than $20.

From what I understand it is locked to Tmobile and need to talk to RIM about getting it unlocked. Tmobile can't help you anymore. There might be other ways to get around this, but unfortunately, you entered the code wrong 10 times which sort of locks up the phone even more.

Re: Motorola Xoom

Thanks for the input but I still don't see tablets as much more than a media-viewing device. I doubt I can do the majority of my work on one of them so it discourages me from buying one (I'm frugal - everything needs a purpose). But it would be great to have for reading or watching videos before bed or out at a cafe or something. I think if I traveled more (flying specifically) it would be perfect as ...

Nice, it sounds like you are satisfied with the purchase, no buyer's remorse. I figure the hardware is pretty important, especially with the tablets so they can rush it out (because they needed to ride the iPad wave) and push out software updates to the device. Even the CEO of Samsung said they rushed out their Galaxy Tab and they will need to get another out soon to match the new iPad.

Did you end up getting the Xoom? Do you like it? I know it finally got Adobe flash just recently.. that was one of the sticking points and made me think twice about getting it.

The Nokia 3595 should be pretty easy to unlock, I would go here as its cheap and fast - http://www.unlocking.com/Nokia-Unlock.html
