Will a v3m sync with a Mac?
I've seen conflicting answers on varoius forums. Can anyone tell me if they've had luck syncing the contacts and address book to the V3m via bluetooth on a mac using iSync? I'm running OS 10.4.7 (released last week) which has a newer version of iSync.
I'm due for a new phone on Monday and debating between this and the e815 which I know is supported.
The only advantage I see over the e813 is VZ navigator which would have come in ...
15 day trial period
I'm looking at upgrading my phone next week with my NE2 discount. Will the 15 day trial period on phones still apply when I use my discount? For example, I'm specifically concerned about the phone's reception and syncing contacts with my computer. If I have trouble with reception with a specific phone or trouble syncing contacts what's the policy on swapping the phone out for a different model?
Are there any "catches" i need to be aware or afraid ...

I'm eligible for my New Every 2 Upgrade on July 3rd and i absolutely cannot wait to get rid of a phone that has caused me nothing but problems.

I agree customer service can be a problem, Though I had a good experience today and that gives me some hope.
Ultimately I make my decision based on the quality of the network and in my area Verizon has the best network. I use my phone for business, sometimes in rural areas, and I just flat out need it to work.

After speaking again with the store manager and the tech we settled on a compromise. I agreed to take another 4500 and the manager agreed to allow me to swap my phone out under warranty, should it become necessary, up until I'm NE2 eligible in July. Will iTunes Phones come to VZW?
I did a quick search for 'iTunes" on this forum and didn't see much discussion so I thought I'd ask.
Is there any change we'll see an iTunes phone come to Verizon? From my understanding Apple's contract with motorola is not exclusive, I'm not sure what kind of arrangement they have with Cingular.
I'm eligible for my new every two promotion next summer and am hoping VZW may have some new phones that include the iTunes software by then.

What does call from "Restricted" mean?
Around 4:30 this morning I got a series of calls from a number that was listed only as "restricted" can someone tell me what this means? I don't remember answering the calls (just silencing the phone, but it was 4am so who knows) but they showed up on my incoming call log twice for a few seconds each this morning.

Basically, you're going to need a data cable to connect your phone to your mac and of course the proper Mac drivers for your cable (this can be the hardest part!) Perhaps I'm missing something, but I believe the VX 4500 DOES have a ring and vibrate option. I just pulled out my phone (which I've only had for a week so I am still learning) and one of the ringer options is "Vibrate and High" I'm not sure if this means it will vibrate and ring at the same time or vibrate then ring. I read on this forum a few weeks back that today, August 2nd, was the day when Verizon ended one promotional period and began another. I just checked out the website and can't see that anything has changed.
