Sorry but I may not have answered your real question in my last reply. The information relayed to me is that Helio will " Soft Launch " the Ocean on May 7th. I guess this means no real marketing efforts behind it but the phone will be available. As far are a marketing blitz it seems there gearing up for the end of the month or beginning of June. Thanks

Sorry for such a late response. Have not been near a computer for awhile... Its upgrades the OS to allow for easier internet sharing with your PC. So you can use your laptop to access internet via phone. It allows for better memory handeling and is alittle more stable. The indicator on the top now says 3G when you are in coverage instead of U... Allows for Cingular Video, etc... Overall a much better ROM

No, you can download the ROM from the link I provided and you should be able to install it. The only thing you will have to do, as per my previous post is to go to the xda developers forum. http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde x.php?pagename=HTC_Hermes and go to the upgrading for beginners section and follow the instructions. The process takes about 1 hour, but I urge you to follow all the instructions carefully.

I am a WM user, and a BB user. I carry both for work. My wife is a BB user. If your a power user and need to things like FTP, TelNet, and dialing into services from your mobile phone then I think that WM is alittle more robust. However, the BB OS is rock solid, very little down time if any. Very easy to navigate and it does what its mean to do. You have to ask yourself what your ...
