iOS 6 performance on 4s

anyone update to iOS 6 that can report no slower performance on the iPhone 4s? I'm very concerned that this latest update will slow the 4s the same way iOS 5 did to the iPhone 4 users.

I couldn't agree more. What a dreadful, horrible design. Reverse the Versa.

The V9M has ring/vibrate. Once you select the ringtone, you need to also ensure the vibrate is set to "on" which is a setting under Sound Settings/Call Sounds.

It appears you are afraid to read the manual. It is a pretty handy little device...

However, for some reason, when I walk across the hall into my parents' room ...

It's not very appealing! My phone is the Espresso (Brown/Bronze) color. Your VZ rep was incorrect about only one color being Black/Silver.

Problem is when I call that store (I hopefully called the specific one that you went to--do you have their number so I could double check?), they say it's not really brown/bronze it's more black and sort of brownish/bronzish. I really want to buy this phone!!!! But really was counting on the brown color. I have a feeling that it just looks different to me but I'd LOVE to get into ...

Picture ID - Size of Picture

It appears the picture size of my picture ID is rather small - only a fraction of the screen size for both the outer and main screen. Is there a setting that I'm missing or is this common for everyone else?

I picked mine up yesterday. I like it - no problems or issues so far, although I've just used it as a phone. Battery life is not great but I hear you need to break it in for awhile (charge it fully and then fully drain it before recharging). Don't forget you have 30 days to play with the phone before you're committed. If you don't like it, bring it back and try another model.

I purchased the V9M today from the NYC store located at Madison/43rd Street. The $50 rebate was listed on the display, but they gave me the $100 rebate so it came to $149 with my NE2. The phone is what is referred to as Espresso color. Depending on the angle, it's mostly brown/bronze. I would not describe it as black/silver so perhaps there are other versions floating around out there.

Since the phone comes with no holder, what's everyone using to carry this thing around? I plan to pick this phone up today and wonder if I should hold off on a holder for the time being.

You have to pay upfront and wait for your rebate.....6 to 8 weeks????? Lennydude That is correct. But you get to touch and feel the phone at the store to make you sure you like it before you buy it. The rebate takes about 4-6 weeks in past experience.

Mike - I know what you mean...but I think the problem (as I've found) was more the weak signal than was the phone. A good way to test this would be to go to a VZW store and call the phone number of the display unit Maxx and see if the unit rings at the same time your current phone's headset hears the ring.

OK..new dilemma. I'm up for my NE2 promo and have been eying the Maxx to replace my V710. Now that the RAZR2 has been announced, do you think its worth waiting for the RAZR2 release, or just go with the Maxx for now as a solid replacement?

Hasn't MOTO released the KRZR, SLVR, and RIZR models, to name a few? The MAXX is a similarly styled RAZR. Makes sense they keep the higher level brand name, no?

I'm looking to upgrade my Moto V60c to the VX 4500 phone. I LOVE the V60, but it's time for an upgrade, as my screen is sadly on the fritz. Since the V60 is a tri-band phone, I'm a bit cautious to move to a Dual Mode - all digital phone. I live in the NYC area, but travel to New England and California often. Should I worry about not being able to pick up an analog ...
