Does anyone know where I can get simple ringtones that are not song??? If you can find some than you are better than me. I'e downloaded THOUSANDS..(Mostly from CNET) but they are all ringtones of songs. Why can't I find a nice selection of phone ring samples??

Yeah. I'm having th esame FREAKIN problem. In fact, Its gettting worsse where no numbers are resonding to "Speed dial" (holding the number down) I pretty much gave up on the touchpad for thios reason and just use the hard keys on the flip open keyboard. Just another pain in the ars thing I'm putting up with. I onder how long I can stand it!

Well said!!! Even with all of my frustrations so far, I am reluctant to "review" it for the same reasons. Also, I don't know if I had the wrong expectations for a device like this. But this is THE WORST thing I've ever used for a phone. Neat features, but horrible usability as a phone.

Those of you that ordered your phone through the internet...How did Verizon ship your phone? Was it UPS, FED EX or US Mail? I had it shipped to my business which closes early tomorrow and I was wondering if I was going to miss the shipment.
Animations as wallpaper!?!?!?!?
My samsung A670 could use animations and videoes that the camera took as wallpaper. The intructions to the V710 say you can too, but doesn't tell you how. I can't figure it out myself. Can anyone out there?

There is no guarantee that Verizon will even decided to release this phone. I was told that they are considering discontinuing all Moto phones. Do you think that this is even rationale? Would Moto spend so much on R&D without some sort of promise from VZW???

The V710 is not coming out on the 1st of July and certainly not on the 6th either. It MIGHT be out by fall.
