The outsider coming in effect.

Legere stated he was the outsider coming in to shake things up with Wireless. This clearly shows as removing your front line who has given you top spot in customer satisfaction many times in years past and more than likely replacing them with overseas vendors (this is what happened in the past) is not a good move. Customer service comes in a very close second to network quality. This is what makes a carrier successful and T-Mobile is ...

Uh NO!....Again..I am not defending Apple here. Why do people still talk like they are in grade school? I am referring to the LTE iPad that runs on Verizon Wireless's LTE Network. Good God! Please do a little research before looking like an ass! Just because you "hate" a company does not mean you have to go on a rampage!

As a consumer I find it ridiculous and funny how much they sue. It makes them look bad and I would never purchase one of their products based on the closed platform they opt to go with. From a business standpoint I say why not. They have the free cash flow to do it and it puts the other manufacturers in a position to either spend money fighting in court to have it either tossed out or eventually ...

More then likely someone was playing a joke on you and spoofing your caller ID. It happens all the time. You can always check your call records online to see if a call was made. I would not be concerned.

Good point. Sadly Samsung seems to take away some good core functionality of Android with Touch Wiz. I hope they start taking the approach they took to the Galaxy Tab by just adding features rather than changing the entire look and feel of the device. Motorola seems to do well lately building "Moto Blur" into the background while keeping the OS nearly stock.

Which phone is too big and heavy? Android comes in many different shapes and sizes now. Windows Phone 7 which will do it as well since it shares the same functionality as MS Outlook. Not sure about Palm but I would steer clear of them in the first place. Dumb phones can typically do it if you download a third party app which of course will cost extra.

Every single Android smartphone does this. The Gmail Calendar app is pre-installed on all of them.

It is called Redraw. Just about every Android phone suffers this. One solution (if you feel comfortable) is to root your device. Most good Devs adjust the redraw in their roms to lessen and sometimes even remove the redraw all together.

When clicking on links that take you to an external source (Like source links on your news articles) can you change the default option to open the link in a new window/tab? I know I can do this just by right clicking but this is one of the only sites I visit that seems to do this. Am I the only one that wants this?

You post a 4+ year old promo video that QNX made? This means nothing. I own a Blackberry Playbook. It has zero use as of right now and it is priced way to high for a lackluster device that RIM is very far behind on updating. QNX will not even be a thought on consumer devices until mid to late next year! By that time Ios, Android, & Windows Phone 7 will be light-years ahead ...

Quick Correction....The Xperia will run 2.3 out of the box. It is also nearly stock Android with the exception of a few VZW apps pre-installed but no customer overlay like Samsung or HTC have done. Phone is snappy and the gaming controls work well on the pre-installed games. It is also pretty cool that SE made the gaming controller function outside of gaming like for copy/paste. Actually if it was a straight up SE phone I would love ...

Your question is basically a Necropost.....A quick 3 second search on the site with the word "necroposting" shows this thread https://www.phonescoop.com/forums/f orum.php?fm=m&ff=1&fi=2612210 Rich Brome said: If someone is adding something legitimately, there are cases where that's fine. But if someone is clearly just being a jerk, we have a rule about that.

Based on trends over the last several years phones like this do not hold up over time. Customers buy them at first but then realize they just want a standard style phone built around amazing features. This phone would have sold well 2 years ago based on the type of market out there. Other phones from different manufacturers and different carries have tried to break the mold and failed. Good luck to Kyocera but I think they were better making a ...

I think the problem for Sprint is two fold. 1.) Longevity This device will serve a very small mobile user segment in my opinion. Dual screens sounds cool but for now its merely a feature. I think customer have spoken already that they don't want tricky phones. They don't seem to sell well. I don't feel this device will last long. 2.) Mixed Messages Sprint is heavily touting its Wimax as next big thing yet they are ...

As happy as I would be to see you never return to these forums I sincerely doubt that will happen. Speculation is not better then nothing. The only thing speculation typically does is anger people because when the truth finally comes out and it is different then what was speculated it causes an uproar.

Sorry, Fail.... it is a stupid question (I really shouldn't even be responding) Seeing as nobody even has a real release date, pricing details, Contract or no contract requirements....Their is no way to answer this question with any sort of certainty. Any answer you get would just be speculation. Why do you flood these forums with ridiculous questions?

Should't matter. Verizon does not maintain a CNAM at all. This is why it only displays the number and not the name as well.

Don't worry.....Sprint is slowly coming around to try and get themselves equal to the top two carriers. Just look at what they are in the process of doing. Sprint is not going to announce an Iphone on Feb 7th. Nobody on this forum wants Sprint. I have never seen one company go through so many slogans, visions, and "iconic" phones in my life.
