Is it worth it to pay $5.18/month or $6.99/month (depending on the type of insurance) for insurance, with a $99 deductible? I got the phone for about $200. So in 1 year, this total will be $62.16 or $83.88. If I go through one year and my phone gets lost after that year it will be $62.16/$83.88 + $99.99. Is it worth it? I probably will get a new phone after 1 or 2 years.

The headphone jack is fault. The left ear doesn't work all the time. This is an issue that many people have. Based on my understanding, if I exchange it, I have to pay a $35 restocking fee. That is BS. I was right in my prior posts to just wait til all the issues are known before I get this device. So far, the issues are battery and this headphone jack. Why don't I ...

I think I can only get my phone through the orders department on the phone with Verizon. What number should I call and when is the earliest I can call? I have a bonus credit that I can only get through voice support. Thanks in advance. Can't find the info I need.

I've got the wallet and the brains to not be an early adopter. I have already decided what I am. I already said I wasn't going to try this phone until after I hear the complaints. I can live on the cutting edge even waiting for complaints. F*g

Lol. That is a long time, but I am sure it would be worth the wait. I can probably take 1-3 more months for a phone. I've had the blackberry I am using now, since 2007.

I'm just used to waiting now, plus I am cool with a blackberry on a $15 data plan at the moment. I wouldn't want to be the first to get the HTC Thunderbolt. I can see many problems coming. I've heard good things about Droid X, so I am not worried about the Droid Bionic failing. Besides the Bionic, what others will be worthy competitors. What's the Incredible 2 about? I plan on getting one before summer hits. ...

I already have the HTC Thunderbolt. Battery isn't that bad. It lasts about 12 hours, but it's worth it. They gave me 2 batteries. Sent from HTC Thunderbolt.

What's wrong with it? If it's just due to oil, which I believe it is, then go to the store and they will clean it free of charge. This isn't an unusual problem. I had a trackball problem and the BB 8830, but I won't tell you how I got it fixed. :P

Thank you for your response. I remember hating motorola after the motorola q. I am going with the HTC Thunderbolt now for sure! I can't wait!

Just saying your comparing apples and oranges. Technology changes. People get fired. New people come into the game. There are plenty of factors that play into whether or not a company will continue pushing out crappy products. You're view of Motorola is based on conjecture. :-)... :twisted: :o

TY for your response. i dunnnno, I am kind of an iPhone hater. If I was going to get it, I would get the iPhone 5. Leaning towards the Thunderbolt right now.

Well I am only basing my opinion about Motorola on the Motorola Q that I got many years ago. Companies bounce back, don't they? Technology has improved since then. I, also, hear good things about the Droid X. Based on my research, people are slightly favoring the Droid X over the Incredible.

Oops. I worded it wrong. I meant to say that I get to keep my $15 data plan with a Blackberry 8830 UNTIL I switch over to the Droid Bionic. Sorry.

Wait. If the Droid Bionic is a FEW months away. I might go with the Thunderbolt. Can't wait that long. Or can I? What am I getting for waiting for the Droid Bionic? Since this "delay" and how we are closer to the Droid Bionic release date, I don't see why I shouldn't wait a little bit more and cop the Droid Bionic. For the longest time, I wanted the HTC Thunderbolt. It's got everything the HTC Thunderbolt plus more except an FM radio (so what). It's made by Motorola though. I have had bad experiences with Motorola (e.g. Motorola Q). I hated the Motorola Q. Someone please ...
