I've been using that site for a few years and its free if you don't mind waiting. If you want it fast they make you pay. I'm sorry if you didn't understand that when you looked at the site. Your bad.

Yeah it does. I'm using it right now and I can view everything just fine. Its free so try it out. If you don't like it you can always delete it. I'm sure you'll love it a whole lot more than the regular bb browser.

I like it a lot. I was terrible on the pearl. It made my phone crash all the time. I later heard that it was because of the pearls memory problem. With the curve I haven't run into this problem

Go to google type in smash the tones. It should be the first link. You can upload any mp3 to the site and it turns it into a ringtone for you. You do have to wait for a couple hours that's the catch but the ringtones sound awesome.

Anyone know of any awesome applications for the bb 8330? I have opera mini, google maps, and jive talk already. I just wanted to see if anyone knew of anything else. Thanks!

I always use my phone for all web browsing- my laptop is currently on the fritz. I find that using opera mini for my browser makes things a lot easier.

Options-screen/keyboard-then change which ever convienience key you want to lock the keyboard. It will be MUCH easier this way

Alt key then hold the back arrow key that's under the delete key. I ended up setting up the left soft key to lock the keyboard. Its much easier

I talked to a rep a week or so ago. She told me there are a few phones coming out at the end of april. One is supposedly a new EnV and the other she said is the Curve. She could be wrong, who knows.

SureType actually isn't so bad. I was expecting it to take FOREVER for me to send texts and emails. I got my pearl last friday and by saturday night I was able to text without a problem at all!

Mine is actually coming today!!! I called a rep last night because I got an email saying my order was CANCELED, then I got another email saying the cancellation was reversed. Then another saying my order was on its way. She said it looked like I just got lucky and that my package would be arriving for sure by the 2nd. Crazy stuff!

switching between calls/linking calls

I was on the phone today and someone was calling in on the other line. I answered that call and when I was done talking to them there was no option for me to switch back to the other call or link the calls together. Does this phone not have those option? thanks in advance for any info you can give me :)

Re: E 815 Battery is HORRIBLE

places where EVDO is not available yet people are having problems with their batteries because their phone is constantly switching from EV to 1X. Verizon didn't tell me that EVDO wasn't available in my area so I had no idea I'd have a problem with the battery. the phone is awesome, and once you disable the EVDO (look at other posts on this thread) the battery lasts for a long time.

I just found out that in the Bay Area (where I live) EDVO is in a testing stage so the phone is constantly switching between EVDO and 1X which is causing the batter to drain faster.

Thanks!!! I was worried I'd mess up my phone, but as long as you're careful and press the correct buttons you'll be fine! my phone was stuck in test mode for a while because the guy didn't post how to exit it (someone later in the thread did) after that it was all good and now my phone doesn't bounce between 1x and evdo

yeah the battery life is my only complain about the phone. I went to sleep and the phone had two bars and when I woke up the phone had turned off because the battery had died. I don't mind charging it often. The phone only takes a couple of hours to charge, no biggie. To me atleast.

I got my phone and service yesterday, so far so good. I had a dropped call earlier this morning when I was talking to customer service, but thats ok as long as its not the majority of calls. The phone is great so far. I've been playing around with it non stop and the battery life seems pretty solid so far.

Switching to Verizon

Ok, so I've had a contract with Sprint, AT&T, and Cingular in the past, but now I'm switching to Verizon because my boyfriend has it and we figured we'd save a lot of money not having to worry about going over our minutes thanks to in-calling. I was wondering what everyone's opinion on verizon is. How is the call quality? Can you compare it to cingular (what I have now). I currently have a moto V600 (which is wonderful no ...

No I really have NO money to pay for it... If you read my other posts you'd see that I'm getting laid off so paying for a cell phone is not an option right now I've got more important things to worry about... so when I get money I'll probably be going with t-mobile hopefully they'll still have the e315 when I get money or maybe the upgrade to that. That would be great!

Well I had to cancel my plan with cingular because I don't have the money to pay for it anymore (I was still within my first 30 days so the cancelation didn't really cost me anything other than paying for the minutes used). I was thinking of switching because its only a 1 year contract and I had a friend who had t-mobile in my area and she had great coverage.

when I say I have no money I mean I have NO money. I'm a 19 year old kid wo is about to lose her job because business is slow I have car insurance and gas to pay for so right now for me having a cell phone isn't an option. I've had cingular for a few weeks now and its been pretty good minus the run around I went through to get the phone I want (samsung p207). ...

I'm planing on canceling my service with Cingular soon due to the fact that I am low on money. However, when I do have money to have a cellphone again I am thinking of either going back to Cingular or joining T-Mobile. I was wondering if anyone can comment of the service, signal strength, phones and anything else that you can think of. Thanks for any info you can give me.
