Use songs that you load onto your card. You can use any song that you have on your phone.
Calendar questions
Is there a way to set the default reminder to none when you are setting a calendar event? I don't want reminder but it automatically puts in a 15 min reminder.

What kind of case came with the phone? I have the 8830 and it came with a nice belt clip leather holster. I know that the Curve with T-Mobile and ATT come with a cheap pouch that won't even hook to your belt. Thanks in Advance.
Treo 750 on Verizon???
I am not sure if this means that VZW is getting the 750 but here is what I found.
I went and purchased a new Holster and Car Charger for my Treo 755. On the packaging it says that it supports the Treo 700, 750 and 755. I am not sure why they would say it supports a phone that they don't carry. That is just my observation, take it for what it is worth.

SD Card
I have two questions I hope someone will know the answer to.
1). Can anyone tell me the largest card that this phone will support?
2). Is there a registry editor that will work on this phone? I have tried Resco and PHM and they both say they are not supported on this phone.

1) You can highlight the picture that you want to send and then select menu and then send. This will ask you how you want to send the picture. Select MMS. This will attach the picture in a message and you can select who to send it to.

Yes you can receive a call while listening to music! The phone will pause the music and the resume when your call is complete.

You cannot simply set you MP3's as a ringtone! you have to convert them to ringtones by either. Using a 3rd party application like www.mobile17.com there are several different applications that will turn MP3's to ringtones. Or you can email a song to you phone at yournumber@vzwpix.com and then save it as a ringtone when you get the message. Also you press the side key to turn on the speakerphone.

I have a 2gb card and have had no problems! I hate to state the obvious but either the phone or the card is bad, I would start by replacing the card and if the same problem then have the phone replaced.

Make sure the the song names are less than 40 characters including spaces otherwise the phone won't recogonize them. As far as the volume I have not had the problem with it being to loud even when it is all the way down.

There are many threads on this already. You can drag and drop them onto a card after inserting the card and formatting the card, or transfer them using Windows Media Player 10 also after formatting the card.

It is possible to listen to music via bluetooth, but you have to have headphones that support the A2DP. Your standard bluetooth headset will not play the music. Hope that helps.

I do forward the incoming calls but there are times that for business purposes I need to make a call from the 2nd number. If you can just switch NAM and make the call it makes it much more convenient.

You are able to load songs right onto the card you are able to do that through Windows Media Player 10 and also drag and drop. Either way you need to put the card in your phone first and format the card so that you have the correct folders to put them in. As far as creating ringtones there are many threads on creating ringtones. Try this one.

The music will stop, but as soon as you either clear the message or reply the music will continue. It is a little annoying, but at the same time it is sort of nice because it alerts you of the text message.

I don't use the 9900 but I do use the 8600, I am not sure if it is the same but you can enable dual nam by selecting menu, 0, 000000, Dual NAM Setting, enable. Hope this helps.
Hyphens
I used to have hyphens in all my phone numbers and someone was playing with my phone and now all the hypens are gone. Is there an easy way to get the phone to add these back in for me? Thank you in advanced!
Dual NAM
I have two numbers that I use but only want to carry 1 phone. Verizon/LG has dissabled the Dual NAM on this phone. I was able to enable it but had so much trouble getting VZW to put the MEID on my second line. Why would they disable this feature I know alot of people that use this, it can't possible affect VZW at all?

Well, if you signed the rebate form it says right below it that by removing the UPC it will void your ability to return the phone for a refund. If you buy a tent from a sporting goods store and cut out the UPC do you think they will let you return it?

Officialy according to the rules of NE2 it expires in 6 months, but I have not seen them ever enforce this.

I am not sure about the 9900 but on the 8600 you have to send the sound to yourself as a text and then in the options select save as ringtone. Hope that works.
