So while the rest of the industry gets more competitive Verizon raises prices? So while this will save a little money for people with the 1 and 3GB plans due to the per smartphone access fee going down to $20 from $25 it represents a price increase for most customers above that. Seriously what on earth is Verizon thinking these days? So glad I am still on my grandfathered plan with them back when they were at ...

I agree Verizon's own prepaid plans put their post paid single line plans to shame. You can't even get a bring your own phone discount on single line plans but you can on prepaid which is insane.

Your spec list says it weighs 5.35oz but Motorola's says 5.57oz. Wondering if maybe that was in error or it really is a bit lighter.

Yes TouchWiz 3.0 isn't super flexible but neither is Sense or Motoblur. At least with TouchWiz 3.0 you can change the number of screens if you don't need all 7, change two of the four icons on the bottom panel or as the best option switch to a different launcher like ADW or LauncherPro. The beauty of Android is that almost every part can be changed to your liking and this is still the case with the ...

Sprint may typically be cheaper then the other carriers but actually my new T-Mobile plan will be cheaper and I can get 4G speeds without having to worry about my battery. My issue with Sprint is with how they are representing the fee though. Instead of just simply adjusting their prices they tacked on a fee and then can barely explain what it's for. It's great that you can look past the shadiness of this but I am ...

The constant rants over the lack of an LED flash are ridiculous. 16GB of internal storage is way more useful then an LED flash that you know will just lead to blue or greenish tinged pictures like on every other camera phone with flash. I agree it would be nice if all models had both but given a choice I would take the 16GB any day and applaud T-Mobile for making that choice.

Yeah but it also has a keyboard I don't need and that $10 "cool phone" fee which I find to be offensive. I don't care if they are still cheaper then Att and Verizon. The very idea that they would charge a fee that they can't even explain what it's for is ridiculous and large reason why after 10 years with Sprint I am leaving for T-Mobile and their as fast as WiMax HSPA+ network.

While I agree a flash would be nice I would much rather have the 16GB of internal storage the Vibrant has over the LED flash on Verizon's Fasciante, which only has 2GB of internal storage. Of course I would trade both for an LED notification light or some sort of visual system to notify of messages. Maybe the light under the capacitive buttons can flash? Seems silly to leave something like this out.

Yes, if a batch of Moguls meant for widespread sale were imported on June 7th or earlier then that entire model as well as any future shipments are clear to be imported and sold regardless of when Sprint officially releases the phone.

They also clarify the language of what wouldn't count shortly after this: "Imports of prototypes, or downstream devices for use in testing, for limited-scale distribution for marketing or other purposes, or any purpose other than widespread sales to end use consumers, do not constitute imports for sale to the general public." So basically as long as a batch of phones meant for sale have already been imported then the model will be grandfathered regardless of when Sprint decides to sell it.

Not totally accurate..

The June 7th deadline is based on when the phone was first imported into the US, not when they were first made available for sale. The injunction is very clear in that. It takes plenty of lead time for devices like these to clear customs, make it to the warehouses, and clear some spot checks. So almost all phones expected to launch in the next couple weeks should not be effected by this. Regardless though I expect this ...

Well if you leave the M1 on a loud ringer it will ring loud. It's been that way on my last 3 Sanyo's as well. On the other sanyo's if you leave it on vibrate it will switch to the low ringer until you remove it from the charger. The M1 on vibrate doesn't do anything but flash it's screen while charging.

Yeah, I don't mind that it uses the lowest ringer level, just give me something. A low ringer is better then no sound at all.

How it is normal for the phone to not do anything when charging on vibrate mode? The phone should either switch to ring from vibrate like all other Sanyo phones or vibrate like other phones. If it was a safety thing why does the phone ring when charging on a ringer mode? This is definitely a bug and an annoying one at that.

Based on my post on sprintusers it seems I am not alone in having a problem with my M1 while charging on vibrate mode. Every Sanyo I have owned in the last 4 years has switched to a ringer in this situation. The M1 not only doesn't switch to ring but it doesn't vibrate either! So if you are like me and have your phone on vibrate all of the time and you put it on ...

Vibrate Feature

I am debating replacing my sanyo 8100 for this phone but there is a feature my sanyo has that my previous samsungs didn't and want to know if anyone knows if this feature was added with this phone. the feature essentially changes the ringer to an actual ring when it is put on the charger, this way if you always leave the phone on vibrate you won't have to miss calls while the phone is charging. would appreciate ...
