One Mobile Pollutions dealer was trying to sign up one of my customers. He filled out the customers info on the top of the contract (but not price plan or vertical features or anything related to his service) and said "OK, well just sign this and I'll fill it out later, I'm sure you're busy and have other things to do." 8O 8O 8O the same dealer also... -put in their manager's home address as a billing ...

It's less retail-probably around $300. and it WILL be cheaper than the V710. As I wrote before, $100 or less.

Actually, we WILL be getting a Blackberry device, probably sometime this summer. They are working on pricing, etc right now. :)

Thanks! And yes, just got an email confirming USCC is testing this phone out. :) Wish it would come sooner, we are in dire need of basic, non-camera flips!

I wrote in a previous thread that the tentative release date for the 6255 is now June 1 (why can't they hurry it up already?!) checked out Speedtalk. Not excited as I really don't like PTT. meh

My suggestion is not to go with Sprint- they are terrible in pretty much every way. MOst carriers have good qualities, not so with Sprint. Stay away!

well for one, Samsung won't sell to us because we're too small, so that in itself limits our phone options, especially compared to Verizon. Another is that Nokia (until very recently) hasn't put much for CDMA, that should be changing in the next few months Besides that... I think corporate sees that we have at least 1 phone for everyone's needs. We have plenty of camera phones, free phones, cheap flip phones with speakers. The people who complain about ...

Couple things- most of the posts have been from Verizon customers, NOT USCC customers I have had this phone for a few months and have yet to drop a call. My roommate also has it and she travels back to a backwater town and hasn't had any issues Most of my customers absolutely love it and say it's the best phone they've ever had. One took it up to the UP and it worked great. I've only had 1 ...

customer: i can't hear people when I'm on the phone me: is the volume turned up enough? customer: It doesn't matter what the volume is, I can't hear them me: *takes phone, turns up volume on earpiece, makes test call to another store to check it out, can hear person fine* me: I can hear just fine, your volume was just turned down too low customer: You mean if the volume is turned down I can't hear? 8O

I keep getting an error today that says my ISP address had suddenly changed after I try to log in, and I have to log in again, and then it takes me to the homepage. :? Just thought you'd want to know

I think you were absolutely correct. Just because someone else risked their job by not following policy doesn't mean that you should. Ask the customer how she would feel if someone else claiming to be her had called in wanting to set up another account, if they had the correct information from identity theft, and you had let them sign up. that's why these policies are in place.

A few points in response to your message 1. USCC did not get rid of it, LG did 2. I would have agreed with you when we had first gotten the phone. I loved it. Customers loved it. It had great features. Lately, however, we've had lots of problems and customers have been coming back saying they don't like it, or have reception problems. I don't know if it was a different software version ...
