Re: Unlocked HTC
Thanks for the replies.
I was wondering about the 3G speeds. If I'm gonna be spending that kind of money, I definitely want my money's worth.
Guess I'll be going with the TP2!
Unlocked HTC
I've been looking at a couple of unlocked HTC phones, any issues I need to be aware of?
The models I've been looking at are:
Touch HD T8282 3G
Touch Diamond2 International Version
Touch Pro2 International Version

I know T-Mobile now offers the TP2, but I like the international version.
Saving Ringtone from E-mail
I got a hysterical ring tone emailed to me on my phone, but all I can do is listen to it via Windows Media Player.
How can I save it to use as a ring tone???
Re: Location Code
Already tried that too.
Location Code
Anybody know what the factory password is for the Location Code??? It's only 4 numbers.
Tried last four of number, 0000, 1234, 0123.
Any ideas?
Pix Messaging
Picked up the 6265i almost as soon as it came out, and its awesome!
But, I can't send any pix to anyone, at first it let me send them only to e-mail, now I can't send them to anyone, regardless of carrier or e-mail address.
I called Metro Customer Service and got some woman I could barely understand that told me she "reset my system" and to "restart my phone". I tried, and nothing changed!! :x

Re: CDM9900 vs LG8100
OK, accidentally posted before I was done...
With the 9900 I could send music to my phone via email and set them to ringtones...is there a way to do that on the 8100?
Also, what are the "sounds" for on the phone, I have yet to figure out how to use those for any purpose.
All help is appreciated. I miss my 9900. :P
CDM9900 vs LG8100
Just got the 8100 as an insurance replacement for my 9900, but how compatible are they?
Re: LED Light?
TISK TISK!!!
Don't you know common sense isn't allowed on these forums!!!
Re: ATTENTION ALL CUSTOMERS OF EVERY WIRELESS CARRIER
TRY LOOKING FOR THE Caps button. :D
It's free to use.
I tried Gumby's Tutorial...
Every time I try to retrieve the message, I get a "network authentication failed" message.
Whats the deal with that?
Re: Extended Battery: weight and bulk
I'll let you know tomorrow when my 9900 comes in. I bought the extended battery right away just in case.
I have been using the 9500 with the extended battery. I hope the 9900 won't be as big.

Let the bitching begin!
Re: Moto misses the mark... again!
FYI, I have an Audiovox. :)
Also, for someone who hasn't even used the phone yet, you sure are quick to jump all over it.
But then again, you use Linux and an iPod so I can't expect much from someone like that. :D
About time!!
Nuff said. :D

Re: NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm...
Wonder if any Airlines will offer "cell free" flights?
It would be a good idea, especially for those flights at night.
IMHO, I think any flight after 8pm and before 5am should be "cell free".
Or, as Headline News reported, stick 'em in the cargo hold.
Re: Headsets for CDM-9900 (Recommendations)..?
I just picked up the BodyGlove Earglove Pro headset, so far, I love it!
It's quite small, the microphone is in the ear piece and people I'm talking to have no problem hearing me at all.
It also had a Answer/End button in line.
Here's where I got it from:

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o
If this goes through, you know there's gonna be an increase in Air Rage incidents.
Could you imagine any flight longer than 20min? I'd probably snap.
I hate it enough in bars and trains...now airplanes? Time to buy a cell phone jammer.
You think they'll have a cell free zone on the plane? Kinda like back when they used to have a smoking section. That would be nice.
Re: Any Chance Of a CDMA Version?
Nah, more like a honda powered luxury car. :P
Re: Moto misses the mark... again!
Wah, Wah, Wah.
If you hate Moto so much, why bother posting?

I thought just having VZW did that? :P
Re: New phones - EVER?
Muhahahaha!
Call to VZW C.S.:
"But, this guy on PhoneScoop.com said I could do it."
It has begun...
Soon Verizon will take over everything!
Soon you will have to go through G.I.N. just to buy food and toilet paper. :P
Personally, I hope VZW takes Sprint and Nextel. That would be awesome. 8)
Re: New phones - EVER?
 LOL
I've heard it decreases chances of radiation poisoning too.
Have you heard the rumor of the kinetic cell phones? Just shake 'em real hard if you start to lose a call or battery power. Bouncing it off a hard object works well too.
Re: Help Finding a new phone
I never knew the 270c had BT.
Wow, learn something new everyday. :)
Re: New phones - EVER?
Seriously.
Re: speech recognition with bluetooth
This MPx is designated the MPx300.
You would probably get better results if you posted this question in the MPx220 Forum:

Re: Help Finding a new phone
The Motorola V710 is the only one that VZW currently offers that fits both your requirements.
Re: mitsubishi m900
Best bet would be to keep an eye on the import websites like WirelessImports.com and other ones like that.
They usually get phones before they are available on the North American market.

Hey jd, don't worry about it man. Some of these phone geeks have a militant dedication to a useless cause. They're the ones who sit home on friday and saturday nights playing dungeons and dragons in their underwear cuz they can't get laid. That's why they're all high strung when you make an innocent little mistake, which really isn't a mistake, it was more of an opinion really. Don't sweat em bro. If it looks like a verizon ...
Re: New phones - EVER?
VZW has decided to stop releasing new phones.
They feel that no more phones are necessary beyond what they currently offer.
In fact, they are going to do away with digital service and revert back to analog, its more reliable and has more coverage than any other system.
Re: carrier
Good for you.
Re: MPx 300
Yes, they can be switched to any GSM carrier, BUT, they have to be unlocked.
If they are not unlocked, then they are "locked" into the particular carrier, until you have it unlocked.
Re: Provider???
Assuming you actually work for VZW.
How can you guys be testing it? There's no plan for a CDMA version in the near future.
Besides, if you're testing it now, in 5 years when it does come out for CDMA, you guys will be 2 years away from releasing it!
Re: Do Not Register for DO NOT CALL LIST
I get random calls from bullsh*t telemarketers.
But, my cell is my only phone, so I'm not surprised that my number is out there.

Re: carrier
I swear to god...
VERIZON WIRELESS DOES NOT USE NORTH AMERICAN GSM TECHNOLOGY!!!!!
Why don't people understand this? :?
Re: OK... so when WILL you have the V3 razor? seriously!
Uhm...do you know anything? It's not for VZW. Never has been. Never will be.
IT'S GSM!!!!
Crap
It figures.
