Re: Does Sprint offer FREE Contacts backup?

Wireless backup is not needed on phones like the Mogul, Centro, BB Pearl, etc. If you have a PDA / Smartphone it is assumed you will be installing the software and synching it to your PC. Hence, the phonebook etc. is saved somewhere other than the phone.....

I am not defending the practice, but I don't know if I would go as far as ludicris ($5 after the first time card charge) like I said -"convienence" fee. There are many more RS Stores than Sprint Stores. RS is not the first and definately not the only retailer to charge fees for handling a transaction on behalf of someone else. ATM's are a good example of this practice - Use YOUR Bank's ATM, and you get your ...

I never said it wasn't for profit... I was just breaking down the cost. $5 is our charge for taking the payment. $2 for the card. BTW, we do the same thing for Dish Network Payments. Yeah there may be a charge, but you can pay your bill in about 4500 locations. I call it a "convienence fee". Later.

RS Takes Sprint Payments for a fee of $5 if you have a Precash Card. Precash ties the Wireless account to the card number and when you make a payment, it posts in about 2 - 4 hours. $5 is just a fee for taking the money on behalf of Sprint and getting it posted. If you do not have a Pre Cash Card, the card will cost you $2 Bottom line - if you have a card - $5, if ...

Came in and opened the store, 1st customer comes in and says he is "just browsing". I am catching up on the Company News at the front register. He strolls to the front of the store and grabs a Sirius Sportster Replay Sat Radio and runs for the door. Company policy does not allow me to give chase, but as I followed him out the door, I called him every name in the book.. ("You piece of $hit, F***in' ...

Well, Dave Edmundson resigned from Radio Shack on Monday. Hopefuly, this wacky chapter for RS is over, but they still have a long row to hoe... The hypocritical Bastard still got a Million dollar severence package. What is up with that? I think I will demand a severence whenever I quit. "...But, You did it for Dave..." Arrrgggghhhh!

I do not comment very often, I just read and enjoy the stories and info, but as a part-time RS employee for the past 4 years, I have to chime in on this. Yes, RS stock in swirling down the toilet, and the CEO flap couldn't have come at a worse time. CEO admitted the lied on his resume...And you're gonna love this, He was a Baptist Minister, yet he has been busted 3 times in the past several years ...

I agree that the sanyo Voice dial - ringer feature is cool..Wife used it for a time. As for the number of commands, here is what I want to do: Set the "Flip open" feature for the Voice command menu. Then wear a headset with the On/Off button (equals flip open) Press button - "Command Please" me - Voice dial Who do you wanna call? Home....etc... I don't mind the extra voice steps as I drive a convertible with a five speed and just don't ...

Thanks so much for the reply! Yes, I had looked at the sanyo's and my wife has an 8200 which she loves. I was able to go to the Sprint store and play with them all. I think I am going to give the A760 a try, the dealbreaker was the voice dialing. Samsung's is the best and it doesn't need to be trained. I used it when my N400 was new, but is was too picky because of ...

I am going to re-post the question - Surely someone has experience with this phone???? I asked Sprint and (of course) there are no issues... Ok folks, a little help please... I am really interested in the Samsung SPH-A760 / RL-A760. I have read the reviews here on PhoneScoop and others (C|Net, etc...) and have not found a great deal of information. There are only 5 reviews of this phone on PhoneScoop and is receiving a less than stellar rating. Due ...

As a part-time RadioShack Employee, I must respectfully disagree with your assessment of our abilities. Porting a number to SprintPCS is probably one of the most painless of the cell phone processes. We utilize the SprintPCS FAST activation terminal and it is easy to learn. As long as the customer has the correct billing info from the previous carrier (I ask them to bring in an old bill), then the process goes smoothly. Most of the porting times I ...
