My wife and I have a family plan on ATT with two v600's. We are considering upgrading to the moto v3 because we like the mini usb charging feature(the v600 charge connection seems to be very touchy). I can get two v3's off of myrateplan.com with a two year cingular family contract for $200. It sounds like a good deal but I do not trust phone companies. Is there anything that i should know? Anyone have any stories to ...

v600 to v3? how seemless would the trasition be?

My wife and i are considering upgrading our v600's to v3's. How would that work regarding the sim cards and what not? Could you v3 owners help us out?!

Switching to Cingular? Yes..No..Maybe so?

I got a question for you guys. I too received a email confirming that i will be receiving a BT headset and was very excited. Unfortunately my wife has yet to receive her email. She registered 10 minutes after i did, shouldn't she have won too? We bought the phone the day it came out and registered immediately after, the registration was only open for one day after we registered. You guys have any thoughts or wisdom?

It seems like the unlocked/unbranded phones are the ones having all the problems. I too bought a V600 for my wife and me but have had nothing but sucess and great reception. Our phones sound better than our land-line! The only problem I have had is with dust getting inside the exterior LCD and that was defeated with a little compressed air duster. I pay $6 dollars a month to insure these phones and have had nothing but sucess. ...

Yes, you can take your own pictures and use them as wallpaper or screensavers. Whenever you snap a picture a menu comes up after with a list of choices, including using the picture for a caller id, wallpaper, etc.. It is very easy to use, I already am using a favorite poster of mine as my wallpaper, everyone that sees it thinks it looks great.
