A Valid Review After 1 Day?
I quit reading the article as soon as the writer mentioned that the review was based off of one day of use. I don't question any (-)'s that may be in here; I just feel that a worthy "user review" should be more like a full week than one day.
The Beats Software vs. Other Music Player Apps
Nice right up Eric. I've been saying this all along about the Beats software. I was wondering if you've had a change to install other music player apps such as Player Pro or PowerAmp, which have 10 band EQs. I would tend to think these $5 apps would perform equal or if not better than Beats software. Any thoughts?

This is not their major problem. The problem is coverage, or the lackthereof....no rural coverage. This was the biggest problem when I worked for Sprint. We had the products and service that were the best, and we provided the best service in town. This was back in early 2000s and didn't have VW in our state yet. Actually Processor?
Are you sure that the processor is still a Tegra 2 and not a OMAP?
Does it have a sensor on it for calls?
I am wanting to know if it has a sensor built-into it whereby when making calls and you place the phone up to your ear/face, the display/touchscreen will then disable so that buttons/widgets/etc aren't accidently pressed when the phone is put up to your face. My LG Touch has this, but the Storm1 didn't.

This phone is only available thru Telematics and the business channels. You will mostly see this phone come installed in vehicles(Telematics).
As of this week, I'm no longer in the industry...so may product knowledge about new Sprint stuff will decline.

Nothing will sound or look as good on a phone compared to your PC. your PC has better speakers and a higher resolution monitor. Plus, the person who made that is an amatuer compared to professional ones you pay for.

Dude, ever considered that you're phone may be messed up from dropping it from the 2-story building? I personally wouldn't warranty that phone. Would you expect someone to warranty your TV if you dropped it out of a window? Changing all your passwords can be done from sprintpcs.com. If it still doesn't work, you need to take the phone to store and have them reprovision the phone for you.

That problem relies w/Sprint and not it's affiliates. Affiliate markets provide much better customer care than National. And if you are in collections, forget it cause you're going to get routed to an outsourced call center in India. Good luck getting help from them. If you live in a national market, I'd drive to your nearest affiliate market or get a # to an affiliate market for help.

Go with a Sanyo phone. Their quality and RF reception is far superior than others...as long as you take care of the phone. If you can afford $130, go get the new RL-8200. Sanyo's are known to get better reception and reps. know this and it's why they push Sanyo cause you can avoid customer phone problems down the road. You can buy futuredial cables for $10 and their software for $30 at Radio Shack. That Erricson phone was limited production. Reviews here on that phone weren't too good. Think Sanyo, for a good quality phone.

There are no software reflashes that will enable any phone that uses Short Mail to convert it to SMS. There will not be anything either that will make this possible. If you want to use SMS you need a phone w/SMS.

IF you're porting your #, just go to Sprint and they can port it. You must be out of contract, or your port request will be kicked back as not available for porting. On PTT, Verizon's can do up to 20 at one time, SPrint's is 5. So unless you're using for business use and need to walkie talkie 20 persons at once, then no need to worry.

Where do you live? I'm trying to determine if you live in a national market or affiliate market. Sounds like a national market. Most customers can tell you that you will get much better customer service in affiliate markets than in national markets. Let me know, 'cause if there's a nearby city that's affiliate, there policy might be different and more flexible.

I haven't seen any good reviews on the T608, and I haven't seen the 4920 either...I only had the release date. AS far as computer hookup, I can't speak for anyone else...just my experience. It works for about 10 minutes and then locks up every single time...so I don't bother using it anymore. That is SPrint's policy as far as getting get using it.

This phone model has a problem with the screw coming undone. You should take the battery off and tighten the screws down w/a torque wrench. If you're having problems w/the mic not working, check the screws.

Don't know what to say about that, but do which you could charge two batteries at one time. I believe most companies are pretty much going with travel chargers. Have you tried audiovox's website?

You can customize yourself on both. However, to avoid web charges, you would have to connect the phone via cable to your PC, and use or make you stuff. Without Vision, even if you go to a freesite, you have to connect to the web and go to the sites website via Vision on the phone. You would may for access charges which is .01 cents/kb. I failed to mention, that as far as the next three months, the only new RL phones are still Sanyo. The next Samsung to be released is the new version of the A500. It's the same form factor, but with camera and flash. I'd still get a Sanyo.

I'm not sure, but even the newer ones may not be able to do them as well. Nearly every Sprint phone has voice dialing. But, in order to dial by the digits, you need Voice Command which is a service for $5. Both VC and VD can be fussy. I hardly use either because if you have similiar names, the network and/or phone will sometimes confuss it with another entry. The ...

Who cares? Samsung's quality controls has gone down over the years and I don't plan on buying a Samsung again. I had a 3500 and it worked perfectly. I then went thru 2 N400's and they both sucked! I switched to Sanyo and you can ask any Sprint rep that they make some of the most reliable and best performing phones, including RF reception.
