I don't plan on returning the phone. Just cancelling the service plan. I already have another AT&T line that I have put that SIM in the phone. The contract that came with it clearly says that I can cancel w/in the 1st 30 days for any reason with no ETF.

That was fine with me. I am just happy to the P10a for only $499. I am a happy camper. I just didn't want to buy the phone from Ebay.

already did. Thats not the case this time. the charge for the phone was through Sony Ericsson. And my phone was unlocked. The only reason this promotion was available is because this phone was suppose to come out with AT&T prior to the merger and Cingular decided not to carry it. So Sony Ericsson aready had an agreement with AT&T, so that is why the phone is still available to AT&T customers only for the discount rate. When I ...

wrong, wrong, wrong. I paid for the phone on a Credit card. It was not billed to the AT&T account. I am cancelling w/in the 1st 30 days. No ETF. I already have another AT&T account  , I will simply put my existing SIM in the new phone. The regular price for the phone is over $700 w/out a service plan. This way I go FREE SHIPPING, A FREE BLUETOOTH HEADSET, & cancelled the service w/in the 1st ...

No I won't. I just wanted (the phone) SE p910a. I am cancelling the service w/in the 1st 7 days. I am already under a 2 year contract w/AT&T that I just resigned in Dec 04. I am just going to put my existing SIM in the new phone. The phone is all I care about. I just thought someone might want to know that there is still equipment out there for AT&T, directly through the manufactor.

NO, THAT IS NOT TRUE ABOUT LOCKLINE. as long as they are paying a premium, we can not cancel their insurnace. We will issue "comparable equipment" at this point we are not sure if we will issue unlocked or cingular phones. But in no way do we want to loose revenue by cancelling any insurance.

Personally I LOVE AT&T :D and will not leave until they drag me away. I have a grandfather plan of "UNLIMITED ANYTIME MINUTES" for $49.99 per month. The customer service since they joined with Cingular has been THE WORST!! !!! Cingular sucks. I work for lockline (wireless insurance) so I deal with all of the carriers everyday, and AT&T by far was the Best when it comes to Servicing their customers.

I have Time Warner and Live in KCMO. I wonder if they will offer discounts for package deals and will they do the same thing that AT&T did when they first came here and offer Unlimited Anytime minutes just when get customers away from the Kansas City based Sprint. Sprint, Cingular, Alltel, Verizon, & AT&T. We do the insurance. (lockline). I am an Insurance adjuster and due to the recent rise in identity theft and abuse of the insurance program (customers filing claim to sell the phones on e-bay, adding insurance to already damaged phones just to file a claim, or to simply get an upgrade) we now have a security department to review this type of activity. So due to the abuse of the program it can ...

thats great for you. Customer service calls don't take as long as Security calls. EVERY CUSTOMER WE TALK TO IS IRATE. And they don't want to hear a short, blow off answer.

WELL, it depends on the phone. ALL THE MOTOROLA V... PHONES are UNLOCKED AT&T/CINGULAR (only) you can use a cingular sim in an AT&T phone. MOST of the new phones you can. It just depends on the model. Its didn't work on my Nokia phones, but I could use my V505 with both sims and you can switch networks to pick up both towers. But on my Sony Ericsson, and my Audiovox 5600, it didn't work.

You are so right Matty. Unfortunately Call centers focus on stats NOT service. It is more important for the CSR's to have low "talk time" rather than provide superior service. Even in the department that I work in (security for Cingular/Spint PCS's insurance) we talk to irate customers all day and we still have to adhere to a 4 minute and 30 second talk time. Yes, I would rather take my time and explain to the customer why they ...

because this phone was designed for the high-end business user such as real estate agents and insurance adjusters. the camera allows them to take photo's of property and download it back to the office or immediately send it to the client. its not intended for the recreational user who uses the camera like a tourist or for amateur photographer.

yea and always a lack of features. no bluetooth, video recording, infrared, MP3 player,.... ect. same old cheap features. Get with it Samsung, they are 2 years behind in features. Well but I guess they appeal to the simple user to doesn't need advanced technology, my Grandmother loves their phones. as my Grandmother always says K.I.S.S.

OH NO, this phone is the best!!!! I am waiting for the P910a to come out through a carrier. I was jus telling those guys they can't get the insurance on the RAZR. acutally if this phone comes out through Cingular, there won't be any insurance on it either. Cingular doesn't cover PDA's. but I don't care. I have to have this phone.

lockline does the insurance for Verizon too. GSM carrier such as Cingular and the old AT&T do not cover any high end or PDA equipment over $400. But Sprint PCS and Verizon cover all of theirs. To tell you the truth, the V551 has the same features plus video capture,...AND IT IS COVERED! Why pay more for less/and no coverage. I realy can not tell you why the decision was made not to cover the V3, but I beleive ...
