not really becuase you would be paying 100 for unlimited with the regular plan and 15 for tethering so 115 as apposed to 95 still cheaper than just unlimited but with no cap then or atleast i beleive its 10gb

also consider that at&t wants tmobile for the 1700mhz spectrum we offer for our service so i wouldnt be worried that a phone wont work. all phones can work on both 1700 and 1800mhz spectrum thier just locked to specific networks if the merger were to go through then i would assume they would be locked to both so you can take full advantage of a larger more powerful network

no your paying for data for the cell phone in no way shape or form were you paying for a tethering within that becuase its a serperate feature from that.
i mean whatever you have to say to make yourself sleep at night but deep down you know its wrong thats why its such a big deal.

well yes that is somewhat true. but the fact of the matter is your paying for the services that the company offers.
not the service you think that your due for paying.
if there is a charge for tethering there is a charge, so hence you would have to pay.
the company doesnt even have to give you the ability to tether if they dont want to, what would you do at that point.

from what i know samsung first wanted to update it in november which was pushed to december and now its almost febuary sure if your not wanting to charge the carriers then what could take so long.. its been out since july stock with 2.1 thats 4-5 months
thats sad
samsung should be on top of their game not falling behind..
slow does not win the race
even the lg optimus t has 2.2 :(
