When you choose that particular lifestyle, there are sacrifices one must make. Whether it's internet access, wireless coverage, etc.
Wow, I cant tell you how uneducated that response sounded. Did you finish the third grade? This is the US all areas should be able to have access to broadband, to limit ourselves is not the American way. Besides, when you learn to read, do some research and you might be surprised at how many subscribers are in rural ...
Funny
12 days ago they told me I'd have it in 7 to 8 days. Soon as the EVO 3D with Sprint is released, I'm going to Android. Microsoft the largest software company in the world cant update software.
How many
Markets does TMobile have?
Incorrect
Why doesnt the media use the correct term. I think you meant pre update. It is NOT the nodo update. As usual, Microsoft has dropped the ball for which as a software developer they have no excuse when it comes to software updating!

I thought I was bugging. I updated my phone last night and didn't see any changes. I guess the real update is in a few days?
Nope you were not bugging. The real update will come when we decide to go with a mobile OS that will not lie to its customers, and that knows how to update its platform.

Not a single colleague of mine has anything positive to say about their Windows 7 phones....this was touted as the next big thing but seems to have lost all interest by mobile consumers. NFC will be the worst can of worms to be opened up here......it works well in Asia but there's something about the ease of passing your phone over a sensor to pay for something..
Seems like they are more interested in the European/Asian market than they ...

all over again. the next gen windows phones will all ship with an NFC chip which won't work right for some convenient reason, and microsoft will toil away for months coming up with an update to fix it.
Your right they cant even update the software they currently have. Heck they dont even know the difference between the pre update and the nodo update. They pushed out the pre update and told everyone it was nodo. What a crock!
Lie
ummm....I guess they dont know there own software and the difference between the pre update and the nodo update. They pushed the pre update NOT the nodo update!
Needless to say, this Microsoft slow update process has made me decide to look at other mobile platforms.

You do realize that there are *still* providers like Cricket and Virgin Mobile right? There would be a HUGE exodus. Instead, one provider here will nickel and dime their way down till they're cheaper, then the next will have to move down to compete, etc.
Sprint isn't dead yet either btw.
Yeah, I'm out of contract with TMO so I'm going to Sprint for the HTC EVO 3D!

I'm out of contract with TMO. So I'm going to either your cell company or Sprint lol. Maybe yours will have 3G where I live!
Bout time!
Now lets see if Tmo blocks it!

By the end of 2012 T-Mobile plans to have their speeds up over 100 Mb/s. If I remember correctly the numbers they said were around 160ish (I know it isn't exactly 160.) Should be interesting how other networks can compete if T-mobile reaches these goals, or even if they only hit around 100Mb/s and have at least decent coverage!
Compete? TMO only updates 'select' markets. When the better carriers, AT&T and Verizon update their networks, they update most if ...
Re: Charging for this service?
So, being a company that sells services, you think they should give you that service for free????

Are you on crack?
Omnipoint then Voicestream then T-Mobile USA
They had GSM while Verizon and AT&T at the time were still on AMPS and not even on TDMA yet.
Exactly. They just suck. As far as cell towers not growing on trees, cell towers are the bread and butter of a cell provider. If they cant supply those, then the fact is they cannot compete.
Re: Selling off its towers would not be a bad move.
This is true T-Mobile, because of their crappy 3G coverage is 4.

T-Mobile would blow the competition out of the water if they would just start expanding their 3G coverage faster. I don't see the roll outs anymore. They seem to be ignoring the smaller markets that is why I have ported my line over to Sprint. It's a tough move considering I've been a customer with T-Mobile for nearly seven years. The reality is that Sprint has much better 3G coverage.
I completely agree. T-Mobile does NOTHING for the smaller ...

Geezus. Is that all you Android fanboys worry about? Copy & paste? Microsoft has already said it's coming.
It's like a parrot squawking incessantly. "COPY AND PASTE! COPY AND PASTE! RRAWWWKK!"
Exactly, these guys cant find anything else about it to gripe about so they scream about the least important feature! "COPY AND PASTE! COPY AND PASTE! RRAWWWKK!" LOL!

What about multitasking and cut and paste. Not that I use WP7 myself as that's pretty obvious but for the people who do use it. I think they would more concerned about that over tiles
You and everyone else that gripe about copy and paste (the least of my worries and yes I use WP7) are going to look pretty stupid when they have it next month.

When politicians position things such as this, they don't really expect the idea to come into fruition. They want to bolster an alternative viewpoint that will seem more approachable by conveying an extreme.
Seriously, blocking technology sounds very dangerous if something goes wrong. Also it sounds very expensive to implement and the payoff isn't foreseeably worth it. In addition, what about passengers in a vehicle? They aren't even driving and have to be punished? Noooooooo.

I think its lazy legislation. Trying to blanket everyone, rather than making law enforcement actually watch for these things. I know if I received a $500 ticket for talking on my phone while driving I wouldnt do it again.

Write your Congressment people. Dont just sit on your hands and let government do what you dont want it to do. Remember who those people work for.
