They say our client is increasing demand at our center, but I know for a fact that the new call center that just opened up in town just hired 150 and is set to hire a few hundred more today. And I know many who have moved to that company already from this center, and many more who are planning to move. I really don't get the ...

iPhones as far back as the 3GS can download the update, which was released back early 2009. How many 3 year old Android phones do you know that are manufacturer supported with the most up-to-date software still? In complete disclosure, I myself am a Google/Android enthusiast, but I do understand the appeal of the iPhone. To each their own.

I still stand by my statement that nobody deserves to use an android phone with a 600 mhz processor; especially the elderly, who are notoriously easily frustrated by flawless technology as it is. I know if someone sold this phone to my grandmother I would be fuming.

I had assumed prepaid from "The Fusion sells for $100 and does not require a contract." This phone would not be any less complicated than a comparably priced phone with a better screen/processor. There are plenty of sub $200 smartphones out there with no contract with a much better user experience. I would argue that if a senior citizen was taking the plunge to get a smartphone, a 600 mhz processor and a small blurry screen would only really ...

Consumer Cellular had better have damn good plans to justify 320*480 screen and a 600 mhz processor on Android these days, especially with some of the stellar options other companies are putting out on prepaid.

DS is resistive touch screen, which detects touch by pressure. Any modern smartphone is capacitive, which basically detects the current of the touch screen interacting with your finger. While it does allow for much smoother touchscreen operation, it means that if you press plastic against it there is no electrical current that would go through it, meaning no register of a touch. The current solution is to have a stylus made of metal with a special ruberrized tip. The ...

I know there are limitations in their design based on how capacitive screens work, but all the ones I've seen have a large, bulbous tip. I'm guessing this is to ensure enough contact is made to register, but are there any other designs that would be more precise? I find that when using the larger tips like you usually see it ends up covering up what you're using in drawing applications, making it only marginally more useful than just ...

Ooh, like a slider running the height of the phone, and as you slide up it gets brighter and brighter, and then when you let go it unlocks and stays at whatever brightness you slid it to? That would be great. Everytime I use my phone I fiddle with the brightness to get it just right.
