Ergh,
more mandatory overtime. This time they're assigning slots on our days off.
They say our client is increasing demand at our center, but I know for a fact that the new call center that just opened up in town just hired 150 and is set to hire a few hundred more today. And I know many who have moved to that company already from this center, and many more who are planning to move.
I really don't get the ...

I saw it right as I hit submit :P
Not sure if I'm too late,
but if you continue guessing eventually it will offer a button that says "sign in to google profile." If you sign in with your gmail info it will unlock the phone and you can change or remove the passcode from their.
Wow.
I'm not seeing any difference either.
Re: If Android makes a new OS...
Bingo!
Re: I'm suprised
Me too, to be honest.
Maybe they like it... :o
I wouldn't mind an editorials section myself.
Some of my favorite content on the site is when Rich or Eric come in and corrects a user in the comments section, which are largely mini opinion pieces in themselves.
Re: so great
We're "The 'Staches".
I think it's fascinating that the initial response from most outlets was lukewarm,
but the reviews have been consistently very positive.
From what I gather the feature list seems modest at first, but even just bringing it up to date with the flagship android lineup is enough to make it a strong recommendation again?
Re: google

Except
iPhones as far back as the 3GS can download the update, which was released back early 2009.
How many 3 year old Android phones do you know that are manufacturer supported with the most up-to-date software still?
In complete disclosure, I myself am a Google/Android enthusiast, but I do understand the appeal of the iPhone.
To each their own.
Re: I'm sitting here
Unimpressed how? Similar to prior iPhones or are there some particular issues?
I really like the look of the black and white 8S.
Makes me wonder why more companies don't mix the two.
Nowaijose
Dell Aero is obviously the best android phone.
Samsung Moment,
by far.
Re: Wow.
I still stand by my statement that nobody deserves to use an android phone with a 600 mhz processor; especially the elderly, who are notoriously easily frustrated by flawless technology as it is. I know if someone sold this phone to my grandmother I would be fuming.
Re: Wow.
Odd. I looked them up and found that as well.
Re: Wow.
I had assumed prepaid from "The Fusion sells for $100 and does not require a contract."
This phone would not be any less complicated than a comparably priced phone with a better screen/processor. There are plenty of sub $200 smartphones out there with no contract with a much better user experience.
I would argue that if a senior citizen was taking the plunge to get a smartphone, a 600 mhz processor and a small blurry screen would only really ...
Wow.
Consumer Cellular had better have damn good plans to justify 320*480 screen and a 600 mhz processor on Android these days, especially with some of the stellar options other companies are putting out on prepaid.
Wow,
I think you're the first person I've seen that has exhibited this much enthusiasm about it. Even diehard Apple fans I know have some complaints.
Re: jellybean on gs3
So far it seems it will. There were some early leaked builds that had it.
Nope.
DS is resistive touch screen, which detects touch by pressure. Any modern smartphone is capacitive, which basically detects the current of the touch screen interacting with your finger. While it does allow for much smoother touchscreen operation, it means that if you press plastic against it there is no electrical current that would go through it, meaning no register of a touch.
The current solution is to have a stylus made of metal with a special ruberrized tip. The ...
I understand technology evolves,
but $29.99 and $39.99 for the adapters? That's greedy.
Re: Worst. Touchscreen. Ever.
Ooh, I think I know what you're talking about. Where the screen feels kind of tacky and grabs your finger?
Re: iPhone 5 And its New Screen
Confirmed!
If iPhones existed in their own little universe, seperate from all other phones,
these features may be impressive.
As it stands alot of these features were already offered by other phones for quite some time, and most if not all are already available on previous iPhones through third party apps.
I'm not.
I really like the feel of the phone.
I think
it needs a few more logos stamped on the back there.
It looks like a Nascar racer....
Capacitive styluses.
I know there are limitations in their design based on how capacitive screens work, but all the ones I've seen have a large, bulbous tip. I'm guessing this is to ensure enough contact is made to register, but are there any other designs that would be more precise? I find that when using the larger tips like you usually see it ends up covering up what you're using in drawing applications, making it only marginally more useful than just ...
I was meaning more
the note line, or more generally, the nascent "phablet" market.
It seems a bit more haphazard than what Samsung is doing with the note line, I was just wondering if it seemed like a solid contender. Would there be any reason for me to pick these over either of the Notes from what you've seen?
Under that definition
the SIII and One X are phablets.
In your opinion Mr. Zeman,
so far does this seem like legitimate competition for the Note?
That phrase is pretty commong now.
Unforunately "tone" is already a thing.
You tell 'em Haggy!
I have to admit,
with as little interest I have in owning an iPhone and as much of a Google/Android fanboy as I am, it's still exciting to see the new iPhone. The visual design is always intriguing and it's impossible to deny their influence over the rest of the industry.
NFC/S Beam
Would having NFC turned on at all times cause a drain on battery life, or only when using NFC features?
Re: too lazy to speak English customers
Maybe they can sense that you love2transfercustomers.
Re: The lockscreen is pretty freakin' adorable.
Ooh, like a slider running the height of the phone, and as you slide up it gets brighter and brighter, and then when you let go it unlocks and stays at whatever brightness you slid it to?
That would be great. Everytime I use my phone I fiddle with the brightness to get it just right.
