Motorola Ringtones - how to delete?

Can you delete the ringtones that come with the phone? I don't see a delete option - I even tried to mark them and delete - but it still won't do it. Help!

I just bought the E815 2 days ago and the voice command key was working fine - now all of the sudden when I push it - it doesn't do anything - if I hold it down it goes to voice record(which is right) Is there something wrong with the phone or is there a way to turn that feature back on?

is anyone else annoyed by the placement of the speaker on this phone - being on the back? seems like it should be on the front. it would make the ringer seem louder wouldn't it?

Are there any other phones beside the VX7000 that you can do the mp3 change to midi file and then picture message trick to your phone?

I apologize then - I spoke with the actual store Mgr. and he said they are going to sell them today. I know he is going to sell me one. Didn't mean to misinform.

Fair enough. I actually am getting it for my birthday which is a "surprise" but I was at my local Verizon store yesterday and they said they are selling them today. I saw the 10 v710 boxes in the back. Do you want to call the store and ask for yourself?

It IS on sale today. Maybe it depends on the retail store or your area? Verizon was given the ok to sell the phone starting today.

Guys - this really isn't that hard to believe. I saw the phones in boxes in the back with my own eyes. I played with one for an hour. The phone is by far better than the LG VX7000. They are selling the V710 starting tomorrow Friday 8/6 They are saving me one and I am getting it tomorrow. So are a couple other customers who I sold on the getting the phone.

Just got back from my local Verizon Retail Store. Spoke with my friend who is the Mgr. He let me play around with the phone for an hour - it is AWESOME!! I have NO clue as to the negative postings or reviews - guess that's what makes the world go 'round. On the external display of my v60 the time and date are always digitally displayed whether the phone is lit up or not. Is this the same case for the v710? I remember one thing I hated about the LG vx7000 was that the external screen would go black like the phone was off after so many moments and you would actually have to hit a button until it would turn back on.

Just went to my local Verizon store on my lunch hour to see if they had the demo phone for the v710. Not only did they not have it - they had no clue about it. I wonder when most stores will start getting them in?

I have been a Verizon Customer since Feb 2002 and when my 2 year contract was up I signed another 2 year contract without getting a different phone - I just switched plans. Am I still eligible for a $100 credit to a new phone?

I am going to guess August 3rd or 6th it might be the 10th or the 13th though. If it's the 10th that is my birthday so that would be bittersweet after waiting on this phone since last year. This phone is going to be the best phone on the market for a while. I really think it will be better than the vx8000 as well. Today was a great day for all of us that have been patiently waiting on this ...

and I got to mess around with VX7000. I must say I was not impressed. It feels so cheap in your hand. I had been looking forward to it coming out since the beginning - so this really sucks. The external display only lights up when you hit a button - otherwise it's black. Even when it does light up the text is so small it's hard to see. After seeing echo's comparison ...

I went to my local Verizon Store and asked if I could look at their VX7000 demo and they said "how did you know we had that?!" I even had to inform them about Video Messaging on the 25th. Oh well.. I know we are all anxiously awaiting this phone. Now that we are starting to see that it is going to be a reality - does anyone have any concrete info on a release date? Seems like it should be fairly soon now. It also seems like they are not going to release the 810 now. This phone is the best looking phone I have ever seen!! I hope it lives up to all ...

this phone seems to lose a lot of good features from the VX6000. I thought it was supposed to be much better?
