If you're eligible to upgrade, it definitely does not matter if the line is primary or secondary. The upgrade price is the upgrade price,regardless.

Got an email today from Blackberry.com saying that updates were available for my 8310 Curve. Downloaded it, and it installed very easily! I now have 4.5 on my ATT Curve! Very nice - video capture now!!

That's what I mean If the description of the phone itself says pop3 is supported. I mean in general, no specific phone. But let's say the blackjack 2, palm centro, samsung instinct. I just started working for best buy mobile, and I'm a little unsure about this. I seem to get different answers from people I've asked. I just want to make sure I understand this. Another thing - if a phone supports pop3 email, ...

That's exactly what I've been wondering about. I've been you couldn't share the unlimited family messaging plan with an iphone user - but you say you can? Boy, I'm glad to hear that! I thought I'd have to pay another $20 for my own unlimited messaging plan, in addition to the $30 iphone data charge. So if I have a family plan, adding an iphone to the account wouldn't cost me any more than adding a ...

I added an additional line to my Cingular account through Best Buy and they didn't require me to add a data plan to the line when I bought a Blackberry Curve. That's the only one of my 4 lines that was not done through a corporate store. Too soon to feel if there's any difference yet! Laura

That's the desktop manager software, not the firmware update that includes video capture. Hope it will be out soon!

There is going to be a firmware update for the Curve that will give it video capture? I read about that a while ago on Crackberry.com It's supposed to come out sometime soon - not sure when, though. They said maybe before the end of 2007, so I guess it could be sometime in early 08

I have had zero "lock up" problems - or any other problems - with my 8310 Curve. I love it.

Any problem I've had with my blackberry has been fixed by sending new "service books" from the blackberry website: http://mycingular.blackberry.com/ Or call customer service - they're very helpful

I definitely can send and receive pictures through email on my blackberry 8310 Curve on ATT. It's just like any other attachment via email

I have no issues with voice quality on my Curve. No one has mentioned anything sounding funny when I talk to people from it, and from my end everyone sounds fine. The speaker phone volume is really nice and loud. I love my ATT Curve - not one complaint. I have had a ton of phones. I am very, very picky!! Laura

I read on Crackberry.com that there is gonna be a software update for the Pearl and the Curve that adds video capture before the year is out.

I posted the web site address somewhere in this phones forum the other day. It should be easy to find cause not much happens on this forum. I saw something about the new software on Crackberry.com They said by end of year. I bet we'll be able to get in from RIM or ATT. I can't wait! Hey, did you know the Curve is only 99.99 right now from ATT? Costco has it on sale ...

No, it does not! I have one. I just read that there's an update to the operating software that adds video capture. It's coming out before the end of the year!

I'm replying using Opera mini 4 on my Curve. Finally sorta figured out how to use the ipera browser. Pretty cool! Gotta go look at my laptop and see how it looks. Laura

Well, I've been an ATT customer for around 7 years, and I think signing a new contract is a small price to pay. I don't mind at all. Just wondering about any changes in company policy, that's all

Okay, so if you want equipment discounts, you need a contract still? No problem. I'm not going anywhere anyway. Just curious. I was a "free agent" for so long, since I had been out of contract forever! I liked being out of contract, for some reason, even though I didn't ever really consider leaving ATT Laura

Is this true? I just saw on the local news in ATL that ATT is no longer requiring customers to sign new contracts when they change plans or upgrade. They also said the termination fees will be based on how far into your contract you are? ANyone know anything about this? I just migrated and signed a 2-year contract. Just wondering. Laura

Got mine yesterday. I got the red one. They didn't have the Titanium - I would have liked to see it. So far, so good. I've never had a blackberry before, so I'm still getting used to it. I wasn't sure about adding the opera mini browser on it, but I probably will. Laura
