Verizon LTE sim in this phone?

If I picked up one of these used and popped in my Verizon LTE sim card, I wonder if this phone would work?

truth be told, I had the iPhone4 and gave it to my wife to switch to the S3 for myself. Its just funny how they bash Apple, yet supply them with most of their memory chips.

I have the 16 gb phone, and I popped in a 32gb MicroSDHC card. totalling 48gb I keep all music and movies I rip to MP4 with handbrake on the MicroSD card. everything else I leave on the phones internal memory. Once in a while I copy off old photos and videos to free up space, I shoot a lot of pics and vids and sometimes end up with only 1gb free on the phone. Still loving my GS3, I'm loving the Samsung ...

After reading these posts I double checked my phone when I play the video I shot yesterday, sometimes the frames would freeze while playing the video back on my phone, I copied the video file onto my laptop and played it on the computer and it played perfectly smooth. No frame freezes at all. So I am happy to say the jerky video playback happens only on the phone, the actual video if played on something else plays perfect.

720p will give you smoother video, but also, do you have "image stabilization" turned on? If so, turn it OFF I found when its on it does exactly what you dont want it to to. I had video of my pushing my kid on swings at the park and it looked like an earthquake was going on. Turned off "IS" and it was perfect. I noticed if you have a lot of background apps running sometimes that causes the video be a little choppy. Its ...

In 2010 I had a Motorola DROID, then I got the iPhone4 when Verizon finally carried it, then about a month and half ago I got the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, used off Ebay. I wanted to like that phone but ended up reselling it on Ebay again. and now I am back on my iphone for a little longer. I had a 3800mAh battery on the nexus and it made it much thicker, but would last about 18 to 20 hours. Sometimes ...

Just a nerdy technical fact, not one of the carriers out right now meet the technical spec for 4G, all the carriers out now have what they're marketing dept has been legally able to call 4G. The true speed of 4G data as per IEEE is around 100mbps But Verizon is the only "4G" carrier with the fastest network right now, but all over them are not technically 4G they are only 4G because they're marketed that way only. Personally I am amazed ...

This is a general opinion of mine to this whole thread. The original Droid didnt have a spring assisted keyboard slider either. If you cant get the keyboard open on a Droid 4, either you left the plastic on it that is on that back of the upper frame from when purchased new, or you have the weakest hands ever. If you slide open the keyboard about 20 or 30 times will loosen it up a little bit. Perhaps you would like nice ...

Ahhh yes. Windows Mobile 6 and 6.5 you will be missed..... missed like being sick and having pudding a$$. Windows Phone 7 is going to really give Android and Apple a run for their money. I used a Samsung Focus for about 2 hours and I loved it. I've had a Blackberry, have a Droid 1 looking forward to Windows Phone 7 on Verizon in Q1 2011 as my next phone. And oh yeah, FIRST POST !!! Yeah VB is full of doody. I have had a Droid 1 since Feb 2010 this phone has been awesome the whole time. The only REAL BIG PROBLEM now is whether to update to the DROID X, or Droid 2 when my Early Upgrade date comes. The big screen is nice, but the physical keyboard has been awesome to have this whole time. Either way I will be happy as both are great phones.

I can tell you easily what Android offers that WebOs does not. A FUTURE.... WebOs exists only on the phones its currently on, and nobody is putting out any flagship hardware with that OS on it anymore. Which is all a shame, but they had extensive hardware problems on the Pre, and took 1 year too long to get it to market. And lets face it, nobody wants a Pixi. Android on the other hand suffers a lot from fragmentation right now. Motorola overlays BLUR ...

The browsing on the Torch will be on par with the Droid and iPhone, usable in the real world and fast. Its running a webkit based browser. So they can achieve a good speed browser with only a 600+ mhz processor. When your more effiecient, you dont need to make up for it in fast processorts. Hence the Droid1, it has a underclocked 550mhz processor and a separate video processor. they offload the graphics to the other chip. Allowing for efficient cpu speeds, AND ...

Otterbox Commuter, got it on Amazon $30 beans. Its tough and makes the phone easier to hold and the buttons easier to press. All the other cases out there are just simple plastic shells. The Otterbox is made from polycarbonate and is tough as balls. However, you will need to find a bigger holster if your looking to put it on your belt. Otterbox does not sell a belt clip to go with their case. And unless you have the Seidio case and ...

The Motorola DROID can do this already in the 2.1 firmware update. But it isnt perfect. NUANCE doing this for the blackberry is a great thing. NUANCE does the voice recognition for DROID phones, and Blackberry phones. They know what their doing. The droids implementation of this feature is more like an experiment, If NUANCE does this right they add a very desirable feature to a very solid platform that is the blackberry. I had a Storm 9530 before I had my moto droid ...

Considering the original phone was released for close to 600$ and in 2006 and its 4 years later. Yes, its time to get a new phone already. 4 years in cell phone years is like 75 years in human years. This may sound dumb but I noticed the physical keyboard on the DROID works best when my fingernails are cut, if you have even a little bit of nail, it tends to make you have to poke your finger into the key a little bit. But again it may just be me. Its fine, and honestly the on screen landscape keyboard is just ducky, you will not need the physical keyboard to often.

Regardless of the "experience" Both the phones come from Motorola and both are running a form of Android. So my big gripe here is if HTC had voice command over BT and the Motorola phones didnt I could see that. But Motorola put out both of these phones. And now remember this, the DEVOUR is meant to be a lower cost phone, and they put this in there. WHereas on the DROID, the "flagship" phone they didnt put it in there and have not yet put ...

Motorola made the DROID, Motorola made the DEVOUR The DEVOUR has this ability. lets get an ability that's existed since 2003 into this phone already. I not arguing with anyone else's points here. Just saying, GIT'R'DONE already. What is taking them so long. The phone does everything else but for some reason someone is dragging their heels getting this done already. If this didnt exist in the DEVOUR I wouldnt be so annoyed that it hasnt been done yet on the DROID. Thanks

Agree, but when you drive 4 hours a day. You will need to place calls while driving. Regardless of whos fault it is, they need to get it done already. The phone for 5 months already. and a feature is missing that has been in phones even non smart phones since 2003. I wonder if this update, or the next will finally add the voice command ability over bluetooth. I still love my DROID but it needs this feature. seriously, like you touch ONLY the button on your bluetooth headset, the phone says back, who do you want to call, and you say the name, and it calls. meaning at no time do you have to touch the screen? wow, well the Devour is MotoBLUR if im not mistaken, I truly hope this ability comes to the DROID and Nexus soon. Especially since its the state law in most states now. Great to hear, thanks for your reply to this post.
