Using an Alltel V266 on a Verizon tower

My favorite camp spot is in a valley. NO SERVICE. I can visibly see a verizon tower and people with verizon phones have 5 bars. Can I make this phone work on the verizon tower? I'm baffled how to do that. Thanks Steve
