Customer called in today and was wanting credit. She gave the agent the story of how she is unemployed and needs help. Okay this is fine hard times and all. However agent noticed she had an employee discount on account. Suddenly customer did not want to complain or argue no more. I thought this was funny.

Jane called in wanting to sell phone to friend. Jane approved a change of ownership. Friend agreed to have line moved on to account. Completed coo.
Now the Friend is calling in saying he did not approve this. BTW his name is not Friend.

I hate angry people. I was just yelled at that my department was closed on Sunday when working people are off. This is the first customer that I have ever gotten short with on the phone. My response to her was well we are open to 8pm on Saturday.

nope no kidding but it is not all it seems to be. it can be very boring and lonely without calls. especially when your coworkers can't talk to you due to their calls

Are we
supposed to tell a customer when they call in next time to request retention because of their plan. The woman near me recommended it to a customer who is on the lowest possible plan for his phone. Basically she told this dude you might be able to haggle a lower price even though you are on the lowest possible data plan. :roll:
