How do you connect a optical cable to a cell phone? Doesn't that contradict the idea of being mobile? Maybe they should use a different term then fios

Android isn't a competitor unless you choose to make it one. You always have the option to build a android phone. I would surely by one... Or 10... :D .... As a long standing business with share holders financials on the line, why wouldn't you cover as much of the market as you can. Plus I just want one... NOKIA PLEASE BUILD A ANDROID PHONE!

Your mostly correct. This is the way it should have been. However they target low income naturally with the cheap prices. With no free phones that group they target is likely to go to the next one who will offer free phones. If a carrier who targets higher income customers offered this they may have some more success. Time will tell though.

As a sales rep for tmobile in Idaho under center partners I can say this is just one bad move that follows a long line of bad moves. I don't think they are going to end any time soon. Things were good before they tried to sell to AT&T. Oh well! ..... Sent from my AT&T one x+ :D

I have been working with Center Partners for 3 and a half years now. They take calls for one of T-Mobiles sales department is Hayden Idaho. There was a time just over a year ago when sales were good. Payouts were good. When T-mobile announced that they were to be bought out by AT&T things went down hill. T-Mobile started reducing the calls we got. Then they opened their own sales department and starting routing calls that were for ...

I work for t mobiles sales department, with centerpartners in north Idaho. Calls from simple mobile customers are a pain in the rear. Their customer service is always telling their customers to call us. But just because they run on our network we must be able to help. Maybe now the other company will take the calls!

There are countless call centers that they dont mention because they are contacted 3rd party call centers. Do a little research and give us one example of a situation like this one where the FCC blocked the sale of one smaller co. to a much larger one. There are stipulations that have to be met.... But never a complete block.

I don't have the phone yet so I can't help you with that... But as a owner, an you confirm or counter the claims that the battery does not last on this phone? I didn't like the phonescoop review on the phone saying the battery is really bad. I wonder if they didn't have a review model with a bad battery. It just didn't seem right.

It's not going to be priced like a high end device..... So maybe the lack of a international 3G radio is part of the reason for the pricing. I don't care... I don't plan on paying At&t for international roaming charges if I visit my sister in Ireland... So I don't care about that.

Funny thing is, I work for t-mobile. And I can tell you that both At&t and tmobile suffer from many of the same complaints. T-mobiles coverage sucks where as At&t's prices and plans suck. If it hadn't been for the stupid iPhone I think things with At&t would be a little diff. It's my hope that VZ having the iphone too will make At&t start to make some changes about phones and plans. As for TMO getting froyo first... ...

As and employee I can tell you we are still offering EM+ plans. They caused issues with people calling in for service. Many people didn't understand that the lower price means you buy the phone at full retail. So the plans were removed from the site.
