Being liberal isn't a political party, it's a mental disease!
Save it for the trailer park ok. This is PhoneScoop. We discuss subjects related to technology and mobile and most of us dont want to hear the political rantings of a misguided teabagger on how Obama is taking away your gun rights. Go discuss that on the Faux news forums. Time and place for everything. Now back to our regularly scheduled program...
Stupid
Won't make it to the states. Just sell the damn S3 at a lower price point. Who the hell wants qHD and a 4.3" screen? Doesn't make any sense unless you're selling for really cheap. Unless this is free or $49 with a contract customers will not want to be bothered. I think it'll probably fare better in a market like India or something honestly.

except no one is here now Verizon.
You know, I think the exact same thing whenever Sprint lights up a new city with LTE a year or more after Verizon and AT&T has.
People don't leave Verizon. They have the lowest churn in the business. Can't say the same for Sprint. The natives are getting restless on the "Now" network growing tired of Sprint blaming slow LTE deployment on "birds" and vendors (Translation: We don't have enough money") T-Mobile ...

I'm sorry to say it, but they are tapping into the illegal immigrant market.
Really? From what I gathered they're just reselling Verizon's service and therefore still requiring a credit check which requires a valid social security number. Besides, the illegals use Metro and Cricket anyway. Some are on Sprint since not providing a social automatically defaults to a $125 security deposit anyway. Least it was like that when I last worked for the authorized dealership

Re: Homeless people rejoyce
It's not entirely worthless but you need twice as much money to provide sufficient coverage as 700MHz or 800MHz which Sprint currently doesn't have. They're already coming up with B.S. excuses for their late LTE deployment such as blaming it on birds on the vendors themselves. You don't see Verizon or AT&T wining.
F you NIMBY's!!!!
They bitch about cell phone coverage but don't want the towers in their towns to provide it. Can't have it both ways

I'm disappointed that phone geeks don't look further at the landscape. You are a musician Eric. How inconvenient would it be to have your battery short for wireless transmitter with no way to swap it out. Or how would you like not being able to change the battery on your BMW? Having elite taste shouldn't compromise common sense.

I've used the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S 4 side-by-side every day for the last month. There's no doubt the GS4 is a technological marvel. It is the best phone to come from Samsung, period. I have no hesitation in saying that. At the end of the day, however, I prefer the complete experience that the One gives me more than the experience that the GS4 gives me.

The problem is coverage
While Sprint does suck in general, they have the coverage and when they don't you automatically roam on Verizon so most people don't care. T-Mo is a better company for sure but their problem has always been coverage. Especially if you're not in one of the larger cities. I would love to see T-Mo overtake Sprint for the 3rd largest but until they deal with their coverage issues it's unlikely. They're headed in the right direction though. Winning some ...
It's called sarcasm
Geez. I got it. Tough crowd huh ricAndroid? lol. Anyway I really dont know why HTC is wasting their time with such nonense honestly. They've learned nothing from the ChaCha and carrier exclusives too? D.O.A. Zuckerberg should just give this up already. He even said at one point in reponse to a Facebook rumour, "that's not what we do". He should stick to what he knows
Ugh
Dumb, irrelevant, pointless, stupid, redundant, etc. I can go and on and on. Haven't they learned from the Cha Cha? Nobody wants a Facebook phone. Nobody.
Re: HTC is bringing their One to Sprint before Samsung launches their S4
True. I'm not going with the plastic and cartoon pentile screen this time. I want better build quality and pure whites on a screen. It's not so much the pixels that bother. I can hardly seen them. It's the over saturated colors and a bluish tinge that comes with Samsung's AMOLED pentile screen. It's still on the GS4 too unfortunately.
They should buy US Cellular already
You know they're gonna eventually

Yeah a success is what happens...
Samsung is laughing all the way to the bank and I see more Galaxy S3's on the subway each morning on the way to work than iPhones these days. May be cheap plastic and a cartoon screen but they must have done something right. I'll be getting the One myself though. You may be a troll but I do agree with you for once.

True but at least their HSPA+ beats Sprint's crappy EVDO and is even faster than WiMAX. I get 10Mbps+ on T-Mo's Faux G so I'm not exactly pining for LTE honestly. Espcially when all it will do is drain the battery
Meh
Same plastic build, same cartoony screen. Why couldn't Samsung ditch the damn pentile ?
Re: Falling Far Behind
I too was in that same situation with the Evo when it came out. Sprint has improved in certain areas such as customer service but as far business decisions they just keep making the wrong ones. What good is unlimited 3G when like you said, it's super slow. You can't even use it. I might be bitter too like yourself but I just couldn't deal with Sprint anymore. I gave them a chance. I'd rather pay for more reliable ...

I don't pay Verizon for 3G!!!!!!
I'm currently researching T-Mobile, their launching LTE
next year, and they have HSPA 21/42 to fall back on.
Plus GSM gets better battery life than CDMA.
Where the hell do you live? I get Verizon 4G ...

You don't negotiate with terrorists Google
That's what Apple is when you think about it. They want to be the only smartphone maker and use iTunes as the Koran. Look at this training manual:
http://gizmodo.com/5938323/how-to- be-a-genius-this-is-apples-secret-employee-tr aining-manual
Their workers are taught to study human behaviors and mind manipulation. Who know rubbing your nose and looking sideways is "suspicious". Wow, really Apple? lol Sick mofo's I'm telling you.
I agree this could backfire on Apple
Apple may think they won now but this ruling will not force companies like Samsung, HTC and others to give their designers more creative license. This could be a very good thing. Thanks Apple I'm now ten times more interested in future Android devices than I ever was

No. Sprint is launching LTE 1900 using its PCS "G" block 10 MHz spectrum. The PCS "G" block was not a part of the original PCS 1900 MHz band plan, and the FCC awarded the nationwide collection of licenses to Sprint as compensation for spectrum lost in the SMR 800 MHz public safety reconfiguration effort. The PCS "G" block 10 MHz spectrum is currently fallow, so using it to deploy LTE 1900 will not affect ...

The A4 processor is more than capable of handling Siri. Of course Apple blocks it from registering on their servers when using it from a jailbroken iPhone 4.
