I just got the phone yesterday. i live in chicago. Every person I talk to says that I sound like I am in a tunnel. I am returning the phone and going back to my old timeport. That is hands down the best phone I have ever used. Is anyone else having this problem?
LG Batteries blow up
Heard today on AM radio in Chicago. LG phones bought from Verizon between 01 to 03 are defective. The batteries can get really hot and actually start on fire. No joke. I am not trying to spread any rumors. Take it as you will. Just thought I should inform everyone.

I went into a verizon store and called customer service and both said that I still have my NE2 and I am still using the old timeport. I have had my NE2 offer since last april(03). They also both said it doesnt expire.

I was in a store the other day and i put my name on a waitlist for the phone. The lady said they will be out in a month. Take it as you will but the list was pretty long.

Well since the the v810 is pushed back untill MAY!!!!! the next phone we will see from verizon is going to be the Kyocera Slider which comes out on tuesday the 9th even though this phone has been out with other carriers for months now. I am not sure if we will see another phone for about three months...Thats my guess but the v810 is coming in MAY

Just got off the phone with moto and they said the date is pushed back to the second half of 2004. I think its about time moto gets their act together and not release phones a year over the orginal release date. While I was typing this i was talking to moto and they JUST said the v710 is going to be released in the next few days....I think the guy was on crack. Who knows. ...

I was watching E! today about grammy gifts and there was a moto commercial that was showing their upcoming products. They had a couple of shots of the V810...I hope this is a sign of hope!! I think we will be seeing this phone in march. Anyone else see the commercial I am talking about???

v810 vs a610
Ok..I have the timeport. Yes a very old phone but it still works great besides the battery. People are talking up the a610 on the forum but on the v810 forum people are saying to wait until the v810 comes out. How many people are wait?

Sorry man...the phone they are talking about is the Samsung SCH-A610. The phone has NO external caller-id. NO IDEA WHY???? The v810 has a few more months
