Re: Rich there is conflicting information on specs
There's also several reviews that have said this phone is the first 42mbps hspa+ phone. Is that true or verified?
Re: clearly
Ahh, now i feel dumb cause i read the subject line and thought you also work for the same company
Re: clearly
what department are you in?
Re: i work for the same center
who are you and what are you talking about?
I helped started the outbound project that your in, and the incentives have only gotten better since the beginning.
I hate this company and this job but i have no problem making good payouts. Whats your deal?
Re: Kernel Manager
is it like rom manager?
how does it work? ....it sounds like something i'll be checking out after work
Re: sadly....
i agree with what you said
goodbye job. :(
Re: If it happens...
That's a good guess
Re: why so Serious?
yes i am. :D
however, just because there is a merger and att plans on using some of the aws spectrum for lte doesnt mean that once they take over, they'll immediate shut down all of that spectrum. Im guessing its gona be a very slow process, of switching it all to lte.
Re: Alright, but...
Your right not everybody likes to upgrade every 1-2 years. If the merger goes through and if you cant keep the phone that you have for the next 5 years(assuming were still using cellphone in 5 years) Then, you can be an adult and go find another phone that you like. You are an adult right?
Re: Why bother with a new T-Mobile device?
So the two year contract would be with t-mobile right?
Do you think Att can legally change your service then make you pay a termination fee to them, for a contract that you didn't sign with them?
Do you have any idea how long it will take them to change the network, if the merger is completed? Plus the merger could end up taking longer than the projected 12 months.
Worst case scenario. You get ...
Re: pimpin out muh phone
Samsung Vibrant with Team Wiskey's bionix 1.3.1. rom w/ voodoo lagfix.
Re: Why bother with a new T-Mobile device?
yep
Re: Why bother with a new T-Mobile device?
Well first of all its going to be at least a year before the Att takes over t-mobile. After that its not going to be an overnight switch. You're prolly looking at about another year before anything changes with the 3g/4g spectrum that t-mobile is currently using. So It'll be about 2 years before anything changes. That's IF the merger goes through.
Re: Stock Android FTW!
Its capable of 14.4 mbps which is more than enough.
Other than Googles nexus phones there is no phone that has been released or upgraded to 2.3 yet... its sad.
Re: Stock Android FTW!
Yeah, it is basically stock. There is no skin overlay, and no sense. Just 2.2 with almost no bloatware. :)
Re: Stock Android FTW!
Right..that's why ill get it. It's supposed to follow the same upgrade path as the g2, which means it'll be one the first phones to get the updates after the nexus phones :)
Re: zomg
yeah...I'm gonna get me one :D
Re: Need help selecting new phone for upgrade
I'd wait for the g2x. It's gonna be epic and it comes out next Friday the 15 for 199.99, for you to order online. The stores will have it the 20th.
Re: You guys do understand this is for their early upgrade policy right????
Yeah i don't know why anyone is complaining.
T-mobile currently offers No discount for an early upgrade.
Re: Didn't Sprint...
What are you talking about?
The only thing that was mentioned on any site including this one , was that t-moblie and sprint were in talks. There weren't any offers made public.
I'm guessing what your talking about were statements for analysts saying how much t-mobile is worth???
Re: The Official Android Market poses a greater risk to users.
Wait, were you talking to me? Google has blocked and even pulled harm full and malicious apps The Openness that Google gives is to allow developers to develop apps (that aren't on the android market) , roms, themes, ect. and also to allow consumers to use those if they wish. However, Google has always protected its own android market.
Re: The Official Android Market poses a greater risk to users.
Really?
Are you sure Google doesn't have an approval process, cause Ive heard they do.......
Re: "Coincidentally, it is in the best interest of consumers that this merger is blocked."
Agreed... i just thought it funny that a new sprint care rep says to check and get facts straight, then posts that mess. :)

First, DT wanted entirely too much for T-mobile. Sprint offered a reasonable amount and DT refused. DT wanted far more the T-mobile is worth and AT&T coughed it up to simply push the Duopoly.
Second, Sprint is not some old guy at a yard sale. It is advocate for consumer rights. They are fighting because they have always had the best interest of the customer in mind and this megacorp will only serve to raise prices and prevent ...
Re: " i don't think Sprint can stop it"
Oh i agree...good for sprint for standing up to the man. Heck I've been a t-mobile rep for the last 2 years. I love the company and I love the paychecks. I still have heard no word as to whether or not ill keep my job :( So I'm not for this merger by any means..
However, I do still believe at&t will get this pushed through. I hope I'm wrong about this; but, i don't think i am.
Re: This is a good waste of time
Verizon can't buy Sprint unless Sprint sell's.
I'm not happy about the whole thing but i don't think Sprint can stop it. I'm convinced one way or another at&t will get this to go through. It sucks but, i just keep hoping this merger will some how be a good thing in the end.
Re: Im on ATT
well depending on what they(at&t) does with the spectrum...this beast might end up becoming useless :(

Sadly either way, stores will be closed, customer service centers shut down and thousands will be left out of work.
My job is all I'm worried about. 8O
Re: To all the Direct Dealers and Store Reps that Call Telesales
I've been in telesales for 2 years for t-mobile and have never had to lie to a customer about metro or crickets networks... good sales rep don't have to lie.
Re: T-mobile question
I personally have never tried, and I've never heard of anyone trying..
It should work as long as it has the radios for it and it supports a sim card. As long as it has our 3g frequencies supported by the phone, then 3g should also work.
Re: Samsung Fascinate/Mesmerize 2.3 Root
I'm sure the Fascinate has been rooted..I don't know if there are any 2.3 rom's released for it yet. Check xda-developers.com in the forums. If there's a 2.3 rom available for it , it'll be there. :)
Re: About time
Its not as bad as wm6/6.5
Is it good????.... I personally think no. Microsoft has the resources and money to do much better.

Now i read those text and now my carrier provides blocks but a year ago it wasn't the same story. It was just flat out stealing with me in my scenario.
Read my post next time. I Semi-agreed with you :?
Re: About time
Right but when i get a text from a 1800 number and it say you can get free ringtones, I didn't used to read those i would automatically just delete them. I shouldnt have to read those texts. After 2 months of having a 9.99 charge on my account i contacted my provider and they told me they couldn't do anything about this charge because i signed up for it...when i didn't. Now i read those text and ...
Re: About time
uh yeah thats not entirely true. Ive received text from third partys that at the end of the text(that i don't read) it says if you don't want this service reply stop. So if you don't reply stop for a service you never signed up for they just start charging you? Its b.s.
Re: If Sprint every buys T-Mobile...
oh Yeah I'm not stressing it ... Ive never not been able to find a job since I've been 14. lol
Re: does the gps work in this one?
Yah i don't like the frost version either..Have you tried any of the different kernels?
Re: does the gps work in this one?
I've done both... I'm currently running tw bionix-v 1.3.1. I'm definatly getting faster download/upload speeds and the gps does work better but not the way it should.
