Bluetooth Button Config. ???

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious here, but I have to ask: Has anyone found an EASY way to toggle the Bluetooth setting on/off? I'd love to re-map one of the keys (AT&T Music), but would settle for another method if possible... Thanks!

I beleive it is slightly different in Win Mobile 5.0, there isn't a function to specificaly designate a number as "Default". The way you do it in 5.0 is to first highlight the contact you are trying to work with, then use the control nub and by moving it left or right you scroll though the various contact numbers you have for a specific contact. For example, I go to "Contacts" and highlight John Smith. The "m" number is shown as ...

You can download ActiveSync from the Microsoft web site, and I think you can download the MS Office viewing software from HTC. Try this link: http://www.htcamerica.net/support/de fault.htm Hope this helps.

The 2125 I bought yesterday included 1 CD-ROM. The CD includes the latest version of ActiveSync + Software to view MS Office files (Excel, Word, etc.) + some utilities (use phone as modem, a few others). The CD doesn't seem to have too much else, but what it did include installed perfectly the first time and the "wizards" all worked as advertised. Hope this helps.

You have heard correctly. From most reports available, Cingular was planning on releasing a newer version of this phone, called the "2125" on Nov. 18. The phone upgraded the operating system to Windows Mobile 5, and also made improvements on the data technology (EDGE vs. GPRS). There are several other smaller improvements as well. I have not been able to find the new model on the Cingular web site, but trust it will show up sometime very soon. This is ...

New User, 2 questions re: BT and GPRS

in the Audiovox SMT 5600 / SPV C500 (HTC Typhoon) forum

I just bought my phone yesterday. Overall, very pleased with functionality... Two questions, your help is appreciated: 1) I've paired by phone with a BT headset (Motorola). It works great, as long as I set the phone's BT setting to "ON" or "DISCOVER". Do I have to have BT on to get the wireless headset to work? I'm wondering of there is a way to program a hotkey or shortcut to enable BT on the phone, so I don't have to ...

Yes, you can. I recently bought the VZW "Mobile Office" Kit. It was fairly simple to install the software, and after doing so all you need to do is connect the included cable to your laptop and phone. I've been able to surf using a work dial-up account & phone number. Note: Be careful which dial-up option you use. If you start using VZW's "high speed" option, they will likely want to charge your account for that service ($39 and up). If ...

Firmware ?

Quick question, appreciate any feedback you may have: I bought a VX4500 the day after they became available. We've all noticed small software glitches that should be addressed by a firmware upgrade. Does anyone know when / how Verizon will offer a firmware upgrade for this phone? Thanks!

My humble LG 4500 review

This is my first post here, so bear with me if I'm a bit long-winded! I bought my 4500 last Saturday (1/31) in Los Angeles. I am a long-time Nokia user (with AT&T Wireless), and I finally had enough of dropped calls and poor coverage with AT&T and made the switch. I was quite wary of switching to a non-Nokia phone because I have 7+ years of comfort-zone using their menus... I am very happy to report that, so far, my LG4500 ...
