Overstating signal strength is an old trick used to by manufacturers to make their phones appear powerful. Sanyo did this about four or five years ago and got a jump on their competitors by doing that same thing. Back then, everyone was saying how great the reception was on their Sanyo phones, but it was all BS. Now, Apple got caught doing the same thing. Well carmodboy, if you had done your job and shown your customers how to use the privacy feature when you sold it to them, then we would not have anything to complain about would we? Bottom line..every time I hear that chirp sound my blood pressure goes up. Workers communicating with dispatchers...OK, but anyone else, I want to shove that Moto phone up their .....

iDen is over. Forget about it. Other carriers lowered their prices because they could not sell it. Besides, that f***ing chirp is so obnoxious. People use it just to say 'look at me'! I swear, if I hear another chirp at the airport I will go postal! Why would anyone need to chirp at the airport? It is so loud and intrusive, I can't wait for it to go away. :evil:

Who cares about the current management?! They ran the stockprice into the ground and a lot of investors got burned because of it. I hope Samsung runs every one of those chumps out on rails. All current SanDisk management worries about is their fat paychecks and bonus payouts. They could not care less about shareholder value. It would be great for SanDisk and their shareholders (owners), no doubt about it.

m520 Live Search
I can't believe that Phone Scoop did not talk about the M/S Live Search feature on this phone. As far as I know, the m520 is the first non-pda phone to have this location based GPS service on it. Live Search is really cool, uses voice recognition and it works great on this phone.

Why would you want Donahue in that spot? He is partially responsible for the problems that Sprint is having now. Remember that it was he who sold Nextel to Sprint. Donahue made out like a bandit selling that company at exactly the right time. Had Sprint passed on the deal, Nextel would have surely gone down the toilet on their own. Five billion dollars? That is chump change. Sprint is worth $45 billion ...

Release is soon. I had a chance to ply with it the oter day and I can tell you it is a real nice phone. I like the 'flip' feature. Bright, sharp screen for picture-caller ID. Good camera with the rotating barrel lens. What is not to like?

p107 is a very nice phone-thin profile, camera/w rotating barrel lens, 10x zoom and contrast functions that you can use on the fly. Very well built handset. Moto, on the other hand .....

Be on tha lookout for the Samsung p107 camera phone for Cingular. I had a chance to play with it last week and I can tell you it is very nice. Thin profile, rotating-barrel camera lens, 10x zoom and contrast
