Re: Almost a month
I heard an commercial on the radio the other day about stream hiring for some kind of medicare campaign.
What's that about? I thought AT&T was pretty firmly against having other contracts in the building with them.
Re: Almost a month
None of my co workers or friends care about iphones.
I ignore commercials and ads.
Pretty simple.
Re: Almost a month
Call center is what I escaped. Not an interest in phones and technology in general.
Besides, I spent the vast majority of my time at work/hell on phone scoop.
Almost a month
I escaped call center hell almost a month ago.
So far so good.
I haven't heard any phrases like "why do I have to pay the blah blah fee" or "the website says...".
Nobody has complained to me about anything. This is really nice.
My boss has done my job before so when he tells me something I know it's reliable. At stream a decent amount of the managers had never actually been on the phone with the AT&T ...
Re: I just love it when account holders can't remember their own account passwords
I have that every day. Usually about twice a week they'll get mad about it though.
I'd get mad if I had something password protected and it was easy to get around.
Re: Why would they care?
I figured as much, but I just wan't sure if there was a technical or legal reason behind it.
Just $$$$ as usual. :D
Why would they care?
Why would hulu block it from phones?
Re: Dont call into a call center and waste the reps time!
Or the sea gulls :D
Re: Today's been ok
Nah, your British accent probably makes you more sales.
Re: Today's been ok
Learn to speak American and they won't yell at you. :D
Unless you tell them that they can't get the Iphone4 since they just got an upgrade in April.
Today's been ok
But I've had plenty of "those" days.
Happens to everyone.
Re: question about "fees"
Most fees are just a matter of pushing a button.
Re: Nailing jello to a tree
Very true
Nailing jello to a tree
Is 3x more usefull than arguing with Bluecoyote.
Re: What is a pain
If his time is valuable, he'd get off the phone after 2 minutes and try again later or get online and fix the problem.
Not as popular
as the Ford Focus
How's it BS?
If apple makes fewer of them, then it will be less popular.
Re: Catch Up
People get too wound up in specs. Chances are that 90% of the people using the evo, i phone4, or this phone will ever get close to using it to it's full advantage.
It's just good that there are comparable phones on several carriers so that it makes the companies work hard to get new customers.
Not at all
This should be an interesting summer with the phone companies trying to beat each other with new phones.
Cool
Sounded like a fun day.
A week's worth of sales in one day. Can't beat that.
What's an average day?
I've heard from a former t mobile salesman about some of the pay. Sounds like a good deal
Re: This is so wrong...
OT is ok, but forced OT with short notice isn't too much fun. Especially when it's all about the I phone 4. People forget it's a phone and not a kidney transplant.
Re: Letter
That's awesome.
I'd be interested in knowing how much profit is actually made each month from a customer that's out of contract. That way there'd be an accurate way to tell the people how long it takes a company to recoup it's costs from a discounted phone.
I've heard it takes 6 months, but I'd like to see the math.
The commision thing
is just flat out awesome.
I'm just under the $200 as well(which is still good sales considering how the last several weeks have gone). I had yesterday off so it had plenty of time to soak in and today I'm just a super duper happy camper.
Re: Could this day get any worse?
Now that you mention it, it does sound like a crappy mexican place owned by asian people or something.
Re: Phones that break themselves
That or that "someone" paid retail price and didn't want to look like a fool or get yelled at by spouse for spending $300. So they told a story about how xxxxx company gave it to them for free.
Look on the bright side.
My tummy is full, I have a cold mountain dew, and the calls have slowed down.
Oh, wait that's only good for me :D
Re: at&t care reps
All at&t call center folk have been flooded with people having a hard time ordering it or whining because they just bought a 3Gs a few months ago and "deserve" a 4.
Re: Message to STORE REPS
Just explain to them the concepts of fairness and manners in a way that takes plenty of time. :D
Re: No
Oh god, we're doomed.
Re: Phones that break themselves
One morning my phone was on the other side of the night stand than what I usually put it.
Damn thing is possessed. I'm just glad it's careful when it's walking around my house and jumping off of coutners. :D And let's not forget that they also access the internet all night long too.
No
I wonder how many doctors and engineers we'll have in 20 years or so if the exponential increase in stupidity continues at the current rate.
Textes
The stupidest word used by the stupidest people.
TEXTS, how hard is that to figure out?
Phones that break themselves
It's not uncommon at all to have people calling in demanding a new phone for free or to pay $20 for another one.
Why?
Cause their phone cracked it's screen all by itself. It was just sitting in a case and in the morning it was broken. :roll:These people are the most argumentative of any other callers.
What a fun day.
Re: T-Mobile every phone free war stories
Stay strong and may the force be with you.
Not the home number
The cell phone number.
Do you call the cable company and provide your gas company account number?
There's usually 2 or 3 a day, but today there's been about 8 or 9.
Re: PUBLICLY ISSUES MOBILE PHONES (only)
I was thinking the same thing.
I'm suprised companies haven't been caught using the gps on company phones to keep tabs on what the employees do on their off time. That would be the ultimate in BS.
People just don't think
Although I don't agree with the ruling, I wouldn't be dumb enough to use a company(public) supplied phone for any personal reasons especially if it's something that could get me in trouble.
Just like with company e mail, gotta think about if you'll get in trouble before you hit send
Re: Not unusual for a phone to be sold out on the release date.
The iphone sold out 600,000 in less than a day without anyone even being able to get their hands on one. Plus there are probably just as many people that couldn't get through to pre order one.
How many EVOs sold all together so far?
