From what I hear, AT&T is buying all of Verizon's towers and within the next 6 months will own verizon completely. Has anybody else heard this? if so, give me the scoop. What's going on?

Why is it old people call in with an issue or a question that should be resolved within 5 minutes and then they spend an hour and a half telling you their life story? I hate it when customers call in and as soon as the call is connected to me, my eardrums get assaulted by the loudest most godawful music. "CAN YOU TURN YOUR MUSIC DOWN SO I CAN SET THIS PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT CAUSE YOUR BROKE SELF CAN'T PAY A 53.00 BILL?"

I wanna go on record here and ask how hard it really is to listen to the freakin IVR prompts? It's not rocket science people. It's your own fault you got transferred to the wrong department. Had you listened to ALL the menu options, you may have reached us the first time instead of getting bounced around to different yayhoos who know nothing about your issue.

Wow...your call center is just like ours...maybe a tad bit harsher, but all the rule changes all the time before we even get a chance to get used to the first set of changes drives one a little batty. They've got us categorized into rows with A B C D etc...and now we have to tell SME's when we're taking a bathroom break? I mean come on...since when does a grown man need to tell someone when ...
