Easy, pickles. Jay doesn't really understand how forums work but he's really enthusiastic about them. Jay just parrots whatever he hears from other users and they usually only are relevant to about five different points. Here are the five if you're interested 1. If you work for a wireless carrier you are an ignorant fanboi who's opinions are fallacious and not to be trusted 2. Real buttons are better than capacitive buttons 3. Motorola is sh!t 4. ...

You keep posting this same thing over and over but you're not really answering the question. if Verizon hangs a -.03$ modifier on your bill there is not material adverse affect to the consumer, closing the loophole.

Ok, so how are people going to use this to get out of their contract?

But renewing means a new contract, right, therefore negating this whole material change deal anyway.

So if Verizon credits .03$ then there is no adverse effect, right?

That's kinda the way they have it now. Granted you do have to pay 20$ a month to tether but you can tether your entire data allotment. It's still way to damned expensive though, and if you're going to be paying for tiers yethering should be thrown in.

Verizon wireless and Verizon communications are not the same company.

this is not a very well written article.
Jul 9, 2011, 6:17 AM
in the Verizon forum

Any article that starts out with "unlimited data plans are not good for anybody" then proceeds to bash a company for getting rid of unlimited data should be questioned. Althe rest of the article is just as contradictory.

When the info is easily obtained using the internet. 2 GB = $30 5 GB = $50 10 GB = $80 Now the really (only) neat part about this is that you can add 2 GB for $20 to you account and then be able to use the mobile hotspot for ALL the data that you've paid for. For instance for $100 a month you can get 12 GB to use either on your device or as data transfer to a ...

Dude, i've lost all interest on almost anything i find on that forum anymore. Its either a bunch of butthurt, entitled customers or a bunch of butthurt, entitled employees. The info is mostly good but usually way off, erring on the sides of pessimistic opinions. FWIW, i am 95% sure that you can go from 3g to 4g even after this change.

"Droid x type phone in 4G." So a 4.3 in touchscreen slab with an 8 megapixel camera, 1ghz processor, 8 gb of internal memory, running Android 2.2 and flash 10.3? I think Verizon might just have one or two phones that fit that description..... Or are you saying that Verizon's lineup of smartphones is sh*t because they don't have one that fits the criteria of what you specifically want in a phone?

I'm not sure if you know what the advantages of a dual-core processor are. Currently, there is not much real world application for a dual-core smartphone. It certainly won't help to much with webpage loading times. www.google.com ..... seriously...

How far indepth do Corp stores go for phone malfunctions? Do you guys do thinks like complete wipes and flashes of blackberries and droids etc? I'm have a SMB customer that has a broken X. Stuck at the bootloader. I'm 95% sure that a .sbf flash will fix the problem. Is this something that a corp store would do? Thanks in advance.

TBPH i can't answer any of these questions because i don't know what the tiers are going to be. I appreciate trying to get your ducks in a row, but relax and make adjustments as needed when the time comes to make adjustments. Hell, there is a good chance you're going to be grandfathered anyway.

There are a host of other ways to figure put data consumption without using data on your phone. Easiest is dialing #data and pressing send.
