New v600 version
I received a new v600 via warranty replacement from AT&T. My original phone was purchased around the June timeframe. I've noticed some differences I'd like bounce off the folks in this forum for feedback:
Old phone:
1) SW: 0B.09.2DR
2) Under network setup the speed is set to Continuous.
3) Black rubber circle left of speaker on back.
New phone:
1) S/W: 0B.09.2FR
2) Under network setup the speed is set to Medium.
3) Grey rubber circle left of speaker on back, inset somewhat.
Feedback?

v600 defects/normal?
Hi, I just got my v600 today from AT&T. I have a couple of questions:
1) What is the black circle on the back of the unit situated just below the antenna?
2) I'm concerned that the back cover is not seated correctly (perfectly) on the unit. Is this a problem or are all the phones like this? Specifically:
A) The cut out in the back cover for the black circle is a hair off center -- ...

Okay, throw me a bone for answering the price question everyone's been wondering about, and pardon what may be a stupid question...
So, the V600 is a GSM phone -- Great. But looking on AT&T's web site they have a few different network/plan coverage areas:
1) Local -Next Generation (GSM/GPRS)
2) National -Next Generation (GSM/GPRS)
3) National -Next Generation (GSM/GPRS/EDGE)
4) ATT Wireless Digital One Rate -Next Generation (GSM/GPRS)
5) Family Local -Next Generation (GSM/GPRS)
6) Family National -Next Generation (GSM/GPRS)
Which of these are supported ...
v600 $299 w/2 yr contract @ ATT
Though I would much prefer that everyone just believe that I have some kind of inside information, my better angels have convinced me otherwise...
