The warranty will not cover the LD. That is what the insurance is for... you make a claim and they send u a refurbished phone. From what i have heard, the brute is liquid resistant. As long as there is no physical damage to the seams to allow liquid to get it the phone shouldnt get liquid damaged. Im also pretty sure that when and if u did get it liquid damaged motorola will give you a different one ...
