I guess none of you read Clear's recent earnings report. They have 0 cash and have put all network build out on hold until they come up with more cash. 2011 does not look good and this is coming from a clear employee.

I work for sprint and I believe there will be some sort of 4g data attachable required for 4g, likely $10. The reason I see this happening is because my employee aircard went from $29.99 a month for 3g to $49.99 when I upgraded to the 4g employee plan. $20 is what sprint pays to clear for 4g, even though they own a majority stake.

Please don't bash something you have not experienced yourself. I use a sprint 4g aircard and It works great in baltimore and In DC where I work even though DC hasn't offically launched yet I have been connecting to 4G down here for 2 months. I cannot tell a difference in browsing speed between my Comcast at home which speedtests at 24mbs and my 4G which averages 4-8mbs. For mobile broadband these speeds are incredible and ...

1 wimax tower 80ft high can cover 30 SQ miles. Thats one of the main differences in wimax over LTE.

They have it in several counties and cities here outside of baltimore. And some of these counties I would consider being highly rural considering all the farmland in certain counties.

I hope your joking. What would make you think people in prison would have the luxury of using a cell phone. Of course they are already banned. Cell phones in prison are a big a problem as drugs.

What happens when the $500 phone you bought breaks, who would insure it? I personally enjoy going into a sprint repair center and getting my phone serviced at no charge. So if I don't buy my phone from sprint will Asurion set up a repair center? Or will I be stuck paying a deductible every time it takes a dump due to a defect? Or will I have to go through the manufacture which will take at ...

My point is, that if I am paying the same monthly rate and Had to pay full price for my phone, I am losing as a consumer. If Monthly rates were adjusted accordingly I wouldn't mind paying full price.

Its not desirable for loyal customers, ive been with sprint for 8 years and never plan on leaving. Why should I pay full price for a phone when I am paying the same monthly rate, I deserve a discount every year.

Im confused, sprint was the second carrier to offer android, first with palm web OS, and first with 4g. But now they don't have anything exciting? Up until the nexus which was realeased 2 days ago, the samsung moment had the fastest processor out of any phone on any network at 800mhz.

Don't hate because your stuck on 3g, Ive ditched comcast for 4g and the speeds are unbelievable. I ran a speed test and was consistently getting 5-7mb download, and when I travel I still get a reliable 3G connection, couldn't be any happier. Way to be ahead of the game sprint.
