Re: NE2 a joke?
Yeah nothing, except the ability to make phone calls
Re: Just a quick clarification
Come on, like the WSJ is infallible. I do enjoy your website though eric.
The i-what?
Why would anyone get an iphone with this beast coming out?
Re: Wow
Its whatever, you won't be able to download tethering apps, the navigation won't work and it runs motoblur. Great specs but ultimately a failure because of AT&T's android politics.
cool beans
now i'll be able to control all my **** from my droid! WOOT! :D :D :D
They Could just.......
Block facebook and google from their phones, and watch their subscribers drop their service. Its really not google or facebooks problem, and they could easily just say "No, go **** yourself"
You guys are dumb
Use common sense now, its a GSM phone on T-Mo, itll have access to the HSPA+ and the camera is the same as the one in the other galaxy S phones so it will record 720p, and Flash support is native to android 2.2 so yes android 2.3 will definitely support it.
Re: 2.1???
Its still absurd that this phone didnt ship with at least 2.0 or 2.1 though. Looking at the phones specs, its a decent peice of hardware being severely dampered by either AT&T or Sony Ericssons laziness.
4 inch capacitive touchscreen
1ghz snapdragon processor
8mp camera
This phone is on par with all the higher end androids, theres no reason whatsoever for 1.6 to have ever touched this phone in the US.
Re: ATT still got the better deal!
Yeah but you're still paying 25 bucks for a 3g service you can hardly use because of their **** network!
Glad sprint got it
I wouldn't have wanted to sell this POS at Verizon! Can you say chargebacks??
Re: more garbage from motorola
Thats probably because, like most people who buy smartphones, you're a moron and either don't know how the phone works or expect it to be able to do unrealistic things.
4g isnt even released for Verizon yet and there are only TWO 4g phones that are out right now (on WiMax, the inferior technology at that!).
Why?
How did this phone even get released? Its a smartphone for 10 year old girls, and 10 year old girls don't normally get smartphones. Chalk it up as another crappy android for AT&T. The only decent one they have is the captivate, and even that is having problems already.
Re: Blackberry Haters bow down
Bow down huh? How about I just let my HTC Incredible continue to mercilessly teabag every blackberry... ever.. and its not even the best android phone anymore.
Have fun with AT&T's flawed data plans you fool.
Re: When will the samsung epic 4g be released?
The galaxy S isnt nearly as good as the droid X, so I doubt verizon is too worried about that.
Re: Who is going to win???
I'll let you guys finish but let me just say one thing.... Beyonce had one of the greatest videos of all time
Re: Who is going to win???
Even the hells angels do good for the community on paper, organizing food/toy drives and other things of the sort. Some people just need to realize that Apple isn't that great of a company, yeah they have some pretty "innovative" products in the minds of many consumers but theyre still in many obvious aspects attempting to form a monopoly at the cost of many other companies who they steal intellectual property from royalty free. Its not far fetched to ...
Re: Somebody kill me please
Yeah, im sick of people coming in here asking "when are you guys going to get the iphone?? Thats what I really want, not that ugly droid thing!"
The droid does serious work, Android is the future, if you don't like the way it looks just get the Eris.
This is how I look at the entire situation:
Why would I support apple, who for the last decade or two has over priced everything they sell, made it as near ...
Indirect Retailers
There are a lot of indirect retailers that I wouldn't support at all. I work for A Wireless/ABC Phones in North Carolina. They threaten to fire me and my co-workers for things as small as not greeting customers with a handshake. Cellular Sales is terrible too, and I believe they're a little bigger than we are. Of course being that its a commission based job regardless of where you work, I would definitely support the rep on a case ...
