Re: sound/Audio quality poor
My main concern is call quality and being able to check email while on the phone (which will require 4g coverage which thankfully metropcs does have in my area).
The reviewer here gave it bad marks on that point, but most others are saying it's good. I'll just have to go to the store to and call myself with it.

sound/Audio quality poor
I read a review on cnet that the audio quality is bad. Perhaps the reviewer was inside of a building?
Can anyone give their assessment?
Re: How is this different than regular magicjack + cordless?
if they made an ethernet-based magicjack, now that would be cool and save a lot of energy. A small ooma type device?
And with porting and getting a new number, well, get a google voice number. one number 4 life!
I've got invitations too, if anyone needs one.

I am looking for software that can read the contacts off of this phone.
Re: ETF Optional - oh really?
some smaller providers will pay the etf when switching to them. But I guess most of the people here know that!
Is there a phone similar to this one but candy-bar design?
One more question, Is there a phone similar to this one but is a candybar, or stick design? Not a flip phone or slider? Flip phones seem flimsy. No matter how durable they make them, they just won't last as long as the old school candy-bar type
What's Stored on the MMC Card?
I am considering the Nokia 6255i, but what is stored on the mmc card on these type of phones? Is it just for mp3s, or also for contacts/sms etc...? Also do I need to use a dual-voltage mmc card to read it on a computer?
Has bluetooth been locked on the 6256?
