Is there any way to remove duplicates from each contact list? I basically have them duplicated, so it is just two of everything. Also in the phone section my contact only go to "P". why is this? Is there anyway to log out of yahoo IM?

Memory

It is my understanding that the full 8 GB of internal memory can not be used for storing apps. However, I think there is a way to increase this. Can anyone provide me with information as to how to increase the amount of memory available for apps? What are some of the most useful/best apps for the Pre? Thanks.

I ordered my new Palm and should get it tomorrow! I just hope the battery is decent. I like the Hero, but don't think it stack up against the Pre. The people at Sprint are pushing the Hero like crazy! Do you have to go to the apps store on the phone or can you go to a website to look for apps?

Android 1.6 & 2.0

Is this downloadable? How does this work? Why would the phone come out with 1.5 when 1.6 is already available? How long should it take to get 2.0? Will it definitely be available? Does 2.0 make the phone less sluggish?

I am new to the palm... Are you able to forward text messages? Does the new upgrade increase battery life? Are there any other issues I should know before buying this phone? Is Palm Pre better than an Android phone like Hero?

Does the Palm Pre Web OS support Adobe Flash? If not, are there any ideas when this will come? Thanks

helps quite a bit thanks... i am just wondering if the Pre will get support from people and grow. I know Android has a huge following and is growing. I am concerned that the pre will never get the apps and will die down. also wondering how smooth the android os is compared to web os...i played with the hero at a sprint store and it was a bit sluggish...the pre seemed more streamlined.

I have some questions about the Palm Pre if anyone can assist. Does the Pre now have text forwarding? Can you group text? Can you play movies or video in quick time format. For example, can I convert a dvd to watch on the pre? Has the battery life improved with the updated OS? How difficult is it to homebrew the phone? What types of things does it open the phone to? Any help would be great. trying to decide between pre ...

thanks. What about fluid use. I want to sync work and personal e-mails with the phone. I also want to use as a browser when needed and be able to text. Being able to bounce back and forth in a fluid manner is important. The apps are cool, but i am also concerned that the phone is not sluggish.

Which OS is better? Android or Palm? I was not a fan of the sluggish ways of the Hero, but am hoping the Moment will be more fluid with the superior processor. Palm Pre was smooth...hoping Moment will be better than Hero regarding smoothness. Any thoughts?

I've read that Palm just released a SDK and more apps should be arriving. THe Palm was so much smoother than the Hero. Hero looks nice, but the processor was sluggish. Web pages rendered much quicker on the Pre and the Pre was much much smoother. I need to see the Moment to see how that is compared to the Pre. As of right now, I thought the Pre was a better phone than ...

Pre - Hero - Moment?

Any suggestions on these three phones? I am concerned with the processor on the Hero and the 16 bit screen. The pre has battery life issues and only 8 gb of memory in it and the Samsung Moment may be bulky. Are there widgets like the Hero and is it customizable? Do all these phones have real HTML internet? Or are they mobile websites? I want full browsing capability. Also, anyone know how the calling sound quality is on any ...

I am very torn between the pre and the HTC Hero. On one hand I like the web browser which has full HTML in the Pre. The phone is very easy to use and does basically all I need and more. The battery life is a bit of a concern, but it probably is a concern in all of these phones. The Hero is very customaizable, however does it have full HTML browsing? How will the ...
