all i was saying is that if the iphone got cut it would make a diffence since a lot of customers have it but i would still have a job.with the field that im in its not directly with ATT i work with a vendor company...thats what i was trying to telling that other guy

thats because before iphone att hadnt merged into the new att..it was broken up like cingular, bell south and so on. not trying to seem smart just stating what i know and my opinion.now if that offends you then dont read it. simple as that

ok what i dont understand is. if its such an issue then why do you put up with it? why do you deal with something that you dont want to have to deal with? cause if you dont do something about it then you are always going to upset about it, do something to change it. some people dont have a problem with the network or ATT period and if you do have a problem then why do you ...

well you are entitled to that opinion just like everybody else. and yes im a supervisor but i dont set the rules...and if a customer is in an area where they dont have good coverage and need to switch to a different provider we have a resolutions department that handles these type of issues. and depending on the situation you could get the ETF's waived. and we have great customer service..maybe the reps you spoke with were bad but ...

no its not like that...we cant better the network overnight. and i know if i had ATT and it was so bad like people say it is, i wouldnt accept it and find somewhere thats better for me.. of course we want to keep our customers but if we not right for them then we need to be honest about it and let them know their options

if the network is so bad.. i think the best thing to do is switch providers but of course they arent going to do that, its easier to complain about it rather than find a better solution

you might wanna do some research before you say sh*t. first of all i work in Business Care for IRU customers. and if you knew anything then you would know we dont handle iphones unless its for tech issues,billing or service. we dont place orders for iphones or anything like that. so why would it matter if we didnt have the iphone? i would still have a job, there are plenty other phones that we have. and i aint ...

just a heads up. anyone who upgrades or activates a smartphone on or after September 6th will require a data package usually starting at $30. so if anyone is interested in getting a smartphone they might want to do it before this date to avoid that, if they dont want to have a data package. thats true. i keep trying to tell people that we have so many people that have iphones or switched to the iphone with the 3GS came out that out network is overloaded and thats causing the dropped calls and poor service but of course customers dont want to hear that and they just think the quality sucks when its actually them who is making it worse

dont hold your breathe... in telegence (billing system) mms is provisioned but the phone doesnt seem to match up with the feature. once its able to be tethered then there would be a feature for tethering the iphone but its not. you cant tether Apple products at the time until they release it, its not coming from ATT its not an ATT product we just provide service not the functions

yea i just switched to boost from metropcs. i have dropped calls, the messaging service is terrible, it has never took me 3 minutes just to send a message on any carrier. i dont know whats going on with that but they really need to fix that

and ATT is the ONLY carrier that carries the iphone so no other provider would have mms either if they had the Iphone because when Apple released it the 3G that wasnt a function, its not because ATT wont let it be MMS capable thats how the phone was manufactured so if thats a problem you might wanna call 800myiphone and speak with apple. The only thing ATT can do is provision it in the system for the MMS ...

well i work for ATT and the reason why the network has been having issues lately is because of the new 3GS that came out. so many people switched to ATT just for that reason so we have been basically overloaded with too many people on the network. ATT usually has goog service if you're in a good service area but i just dont agree with how much we charge people for service and i wish there was something ...

thank you for stating that. i get calls all the time about kids with smartphones and incurring data charges. its like why would you get a smartphone if your not going to use it for its full capabilities

you would pay more because you're on a faster network with more capabilities. if you dont want to pay the $30 then dont get the 3G. And if you didnt have to pay for the data plan then you would have excessive amount of data usage charges on your bill which is $2/MB it used to be .01/kb
