Get ready to buy new chargers. I purchased this phone when it was in preorder. Got it and immediately noticed the charger is different. So all of the turbo chargers I have are a waste. I need three chargers for the different vehicles I drive oh and don't forget the powermat I bought, yep it won't work on it either. I have been and will be a Motorola / Lenovo fan, but this ...

Verizon doesn't honor their end of contract

in the Article: Verizon to Kill Grandfathered Unlimited Plans forum

Verizon doesn't honor their end of my contract then why should I. My plan I've had for 9 years is unlimited. Now Verizon is going to make me change it. "A lot of our 3G base is on unlimited," Shamoo said. "When they migrate off 3G they will have to go to data share. That is beneficial to us." I guess you can't make it any clearer Shampoo. It's all about Veizon not the customer. For the ...

Just release the phone already

in the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX forum

With rumors floating around and Verizon employees not knowing anything about this phone. I wish Verizon or Motorola would just release it already. Some reports claim Motorola wants to show off on this phone February 6th. I turned my Razr in just under thirty days in hopes it would be out on the 26th. Now I'm back to my old Droid X. It's so slowwwww. Just release the phone! You can do your ...

Re: Whats the difference?

in the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX forum

Spec wise the only difference is nothing more than the battery life. I purchased the Razr 29 days ago. When I heard of the Maxx I took my Razr back. I love the Razr (even though I had to turn the LTE off to save battery life). Now I'm temporarily running my Droid X. I certainly can tell the difference. Hurry up Moto and Verizon launch the Maxx.

Time Warner sucks

Oh course Time Warner would not be one those partisipating providers. :P So if you have Time Warner you'll have to pay for this service.

Was really excited about this phone however, Verizon thinks their customers don't want one year contracts anymore. I've never kept a phone longer than a year, why punish those like me that want to upgrade every year? I was going to replace my Droid X with the Bionic. But their ain't a chance in hell I'll sign a two year contract with them. Verizon needs to be takin' down a notch or two.

This supposed update is probably to add Verizons throttle controls for data usage. In efforts to control those they believe are using data more than others.

NC adopted this law last year "No Texting while driving Law". As an Officer and a Traffic Accident Re-constructionist, I say this is the one of the dumbest law's ever. Pass a law making cell phone usage "Hands Free Operating" only. How many text have you sent or replied to which hand seven to eleven characters (standard phone numbers)? Its the same thing!

Re: Replace Storm with Tour?
Jul 15, 2009, 1:42 PM
in the BlackBerry Storm 9530 forum

I purchased the Tour on day of launch after being in the Storm since November. The Tour is not as impressive as I would have expected. It is actually like a fancier version of my old 8830. I am selling my Storm which is a brand new replacement not a refurbished, since my last two Storms died. It is in mint condition and it comes with the docking station, car charger, plastic belt clip and 2GB card. I am ...
