Re: SD card, cover/case

The specs on SDHC cards indicate that the max size is 32GB. 64GB would therefore indicate SDXC card capability. That being said you should be good to go either with a 32GB SDHC initially since the SDXC spec is backwards compatible -- meaning that it can handle SDHC cards. As far as the Note 3's USB 3.0 capabilities it is backwards compatible to USB 2.0. However, on the business end of the Note 3, it ...

It will probably be worse. The battery tech that runs our phones is 1990's vintage -- which, as we are all finding out, is incapable of powering our devices for more than a day. While it's nice that phones these days have high end processors and features like WiFi -- it's all useless if the batteries that power them fold under pressure. Long story short -- we need better battery tech now!

Looking at the scope of what happened, it's probably going to be a nice sized class action suit as well.

Actually Chrysler messed up Daimler so bad that they dumped them like a hot potato a few years back. Seeing as what has now happened to Chrysler, I'm sure that Daimler is glad that they did so. Anyway, this Sidekick thing is a epic cloud computing fail. Just should not have happened.

Motorola is probably going to end up going down the road that Palm did in terms of fully ending production of Win Mobile phones.

Although I've never had a full out battery explosion, I have had some overheat on me. So I would welcome any type of technology improvements that prevent lithium ion battery overheating/explosions. But in the same light, and as stated in these posts, battery technology should be much further along than what it is today. Instead of batteries that give sufficient energy for a device to stay powered on for, at best, a day or two (with ...

And most probably a great majority of the 8000 will be Alltel employees that VZW absorbed in the merger. If VZW wanted to control costs, they should not have bought Alltel. So yes, it doesn't make sense.

Yep, there are some of us that are Linux users! I'm a multi-platform guy -- but right now I'm posting this in Linux. It may be somewhat of a stretch to have a BB syncing app in Linux -- but since OS-X finds it's foundation in UNIX -- which Linux is akin to -- there's always hope!

That's great -- and I hope that RIM takes it one step further by allowing desktop syncing in Linux.

Say what? This brings a tear to my eyes -- worked a long time with Nortel switches and other equipment. Sad to see them go down hard like this.
