Of course not. It's a D!ck waiving contest started by palm, and it has turned into a "sword fight" in the boy's restroom in highschool. Palm trying to be the new big guy, apple defending it's title. Whole thing seems silly, but really, palm needs to just stop playing games and just do the same thing Blackberry does.

It actually doesn't violate anti-trust laws. Jeffro gave a perfect real world example of what this is the equivalent to. Ford cars in a chevy dealership. Why don't people get that? And if anyone tries to claim apple is slowing technology, they need to look at apple's track record for innovation and design. If anything, apple has furthered it, and forced the industry to step up. But seriously, can anyone find a copy of the "anti-trust" laws, and quote what ...

in the Article: Apple Files Its Answers to the FCC Over Google Voice forum

So... let me get something straight. Everyone is pissed cause Apple doesn't want to allow another company's user interface on their device, that uses their software, to sell in their store. Apple owns the app store. The hardware, and the internal software. It's theirs. They spent a sh*t ton of time developing it. And now, we are going to want to get an "apple" phone, to run a "google" application? Forget the childish argument of "I bought it, I should ...

You can't believe that sprint isn't just waiting for normal consumers to buy this device and get overages. They are. They're rubbing their maniacal hands together just waiting... Just becuase it is "meant for business" doesn't mean consumers wont try and use it. How many "consumers" do you know use blackberries and don't even need corp email, or even email altogther? Don't be fooled. This thing is going to rake in the cash.

I'm curious about something... A manufactuer creates a device that they want to always run smoothly, and wants to ensure that their software is used (voice app). I don't understand why it's such a big deal to have a company say no to their competitor software... wouldn't that be like sony making software for nintendo? Ya know, you sound like a very well informed guy. However, that doesn't mean you represent the average McCain supporter. Conservatives usually care about 2 things politically: Abortion, and Religion. If you're a candidate who is against abortion, and very christian, you can basically count of at least 50% of the conservative votes, and that's a "conservative" guess. Realistically, you are an exception to the general rule of conservative intelligence. Be happy about that, but realize that most conservative ...

My comcast has a 100gb limit. It's to "deter high profile pirating." Eh, whatev. I imagine with my netflix, I get kinda close to 50-60 gb each month, and that's just one computer. I think the limit is a little... silly. Deter pirates by punishing pirates. Not normal people. Damnit!

I think with with the higher profile devices, people rate them less than fairly due to higher expectations, and fanboy/Hater BS. I imagine both the storm and iPhone's rating are realistically higher than those numbers. For some reason, people get emotionally invested in apple/BB products. And others. Just saying, that's all.

Maybe I'm the only one stuck in the middle on this issue... I really do see both points. I don't necessarily see the bad outweighing the good. Are we really so quick to assume the prison guards aren't doing their jobs? From what I understand, there are tons of claims of cruelty in prison, where guards do their job, or sometimes more (even if it's extreme). in the Article: AT&T Defends Itself Against Government Review forum

Sprint's bonus/pay system for the outsourced company I work for is pretty shady. I'll try and keep it simple: Pay per call. Amount per call adjusted by your "issue resolution." Issue resolution is determined by "randomly" surveying customers about 2-4 days after the call, and directly asking "was your issue resolved" as well as other questions. The amount you're paid per call can be anywhere from 1.11 per call, up to about 2.06 per call (highest I saw). IR is ...

Um... what kind of BS statement is that. I'm taking it literally, so if someone wants to look into what he could possibly actually mean, I'm open to suggestions, cause we all know that's a load of gigantic BS. I have mixed feelings. If the royalties are paid to the artist, and not the companies, I'm all for it, simply because the artists are robbed by the record companies so much already. If it goes to the company and the artist, lame sauce all the way. In a way, we have kind of created this situation by piracy, which was created by high costs of CDs, which in the end, was caused by the companies stealing from artists. If ...

Just to play devil's advocate... Who really needs mass storage out of their phone? Like... really? On your phone? Why do people keep complaining about the lack of SD cards with more than sufficient internal capacity, in which you can store much larger (and more stable) amount of apps/games? Ya know, I always thought Nokia was a great company for functional phones, but this sounds kinda lame. For as much as the iPhone is dominating the phone scene, Companies should either look to do something totally different to draw attention away, or improve on the things that work well with it, rather than doing half-assed versions. Whether we like it or not, the iPhone has begun to set some serious standards for the functionality of user interfaces and functionality. ...

Yeah, that's what I thought. Not that I'm trying to play up apple (though I'm an avid apple product user when it doesn't involve AT&T). I just know that wma isn't the standard, and in fact, I can't remember, but isn't wma slightly lower quality?
