I don't know if this helps for the ring songs but in general, you can go thru your voicemail and change settings, or even easier call cus. serv. 611 on your phone, better yet do it from a land.lin. they can make the ringer longer or shorter. Hope this helped! :)

No lag time or at least better than moto and sony! This phone is every bit as advertised! Like I said before, I want to use it and play around with it before I post a review. :D

Yes...I've gotten it yesterday! The siganal is great (usual for a nokia), call quality is great, and I personally feel that the handset is loud, both the earpiece and the speakerphone. I paid 139.99 for a one year contract so I'm sure at worst case it can't be over 200.00 for full retail. :D

Glad to say I finally now own the nokia 6102 for cingular!! I called many stores in my area (northern suberbs of NYC) and only about three had received believe it or not one 6102 per store and they had already been sold. So I decided to randomly choose stores in NYC and founf one near ground zero on Wall Street. They held it for me and I had to drive through rush hour to buy ...

Beware, though I checked with my store rep and she told me earleier in the evening that it will be introduced at the end of october!! So hopefully that won't be true. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm actually very happy to say that you're wrong! I've already seen 2 national televised commercials promoting the 6102 for cingular as a back to school phone. Also found out from a cingular employee that the phone has been pushed back to the end of October! Most of the cingular stores in my area already have posters of the phone hanging up promoting it! 7000 RELEASE
Sorry to say but I have some inside info and the message is that the 7000 will not be released until after the 9900. Now the 9900 won't be out until early May. The 7000 probably till late June and the v710 in late July or early August. Remember all....patience is a virtue. :lol:
